davewarden Posted November 24, 2006 Report Share Posted November 24, 2006 Occasionally when I switch on my laptop the toolbar at the botton freezes and I cant click on anything on it.No viruses detected,so I dont have a scooby whats wrong.Any help would be great. The Kernel Loaf Posted November 24, 2006 Report Share Posted November 24, 2006 Open your task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) and end the process 'explorer.exe'. This will stop the taskbar process and it should automatically restart. If it doesn't, go to Start>Run and type in "explorer.exe". Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest Neutral Posted November 24, 2006 Report Share Posted November 24, 2006 Does it boot into windows first or are you using an acorn? are you connected to a lan during the occassions that this problem occurs?if you are then most likely its applying policiesor maybe not all of your startup programs and services havent finished loading, this is usually the cause of this particular problem Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
