thestooge
I have a Peavey Classic 30I last used it for gigging about 2 years ago - during the gig it started cutting out. When I got it home it had completely stopped working.Since then I havent used it as it turned out to be the bands last gig. I was trying to get it going again over the weekend but with no luck.It also seems to be getting very hot on all the metal work.I think it needs new valves but dont know if thats its only problem - anyone got any advice...Also anyone know of anywhere that will fix/service it that is reletively cheap.Cheers

britheguy
Sounds like the fuse right enough. It could be that your valves are just about ready to pack in, this sometimes causes the amp to cut out, fizzle etc, So try the fuse on the amp, but be prepared to buy new valves. Classic 30's are great amps and worth getting going again.
