Neil Posted May 21, 2006 Report Share Posted May 21, 2006 In an effort to encourage more people to add events to the calendar and to also publicise said events more effectively the calendar system has been simplified. Here is a summary of the changes made:- All calendars have been merged into one, single calendar called Upcoming Events.- You no longer need to enter a start and end time for events and so this prevents the confusing display of one event over multiple days.- All registered users can add events to the calendar (however, they are still moderated by the Staff to prevent abuse of the system).- A weekly, monthly or annual view of all Upcoming Events can now be accessed from the What's On? link on the main menu above.We are also currently looking at other ways of further advertising events added to the calendar across the Internet and beyond.
