Tav
I use the PC occasionally for recording but I am looking for something get ideas down quicker with less hassle. Tascam's 414MkII is looking tempting for a tape based mult-track. I like the idea of being able to get the ideas down quickly without being near my PC and the ability to be able to give the tapes out to who ever needs them. Plus it has 4 track simultaneous recording which should be usefull for jamming. Has anyone had any experience with there and if so what are your thoughts? Anything better for similiar money? ghost
Tav, I'm with Hog - I didn't have that model, but I wish I'd kept my Tascam 4 track for exactly the reasons you mention. It's a bugger waiting for a PC to load when your brain is buzzing with ideas.
