threeornothing Posted February 26, 2006 Report Share Posted February 26, 2006 It's basically a search engine crawler, it's reading the site and following every link it finds, and caching all the text on the yahoo web search server, so in a few weeks or whatever if someone does an exact search on yahoo for the following "SUCK MY YELLOW LEMSIP" (in quotes), thanks to the yahoo slurp spider reading it and caching it on their servers, they will be able to find this page.It's also a waste of bandwidth, invasion of privacy......but it brings a lot of people to the site I guess through coincidental search results....
