UFB Posted September 26, 2005 Report Share Posted September 26, 2005 I have a problem with my guitar, the strings vibrate and make a horrible sound when i hold down the 1st 2nd and 3rd fret on all 6 strings, I have tried to adjust the bridge to see if that would make it go away but nothing has worked so far, just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what the problem is, and how i could fix it.Cheers Steve Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

soundian Posted September 26, 2005 Report Share Posted September 26, 2005 Hold a string down on the first and last frets, there should be a very slight curve to the neck, if there isn't, or there's a big gap between the string and the frets in the middle, your truss rod may need looking at.
