the_beastly_one
Right:I have a melody here, which uses the notes A, G#, F#, C# and D, and I'm having trouble working out which chords to put behind this.It sounds quite minor, and from what I gather, it could fit into the key of D, with a flattened 5th, but I know this isn't the one I'm looking for.Can anyone help, even if only suggesting a key?I'm finishing on quite a heavily altered scale aswell that I'm not too sure about - it goes: B, A, G#, F#, F, D, C#, B.The answers are probably staring me in the face, but logic isn't really my strongpoint.Thanks. I would put it as the key of D Lydian.
