NARC
Just some thoughts about last night. Gig started really late, thought Arrow Speed weren't too great, I wanted to smack the drummer for his "Satisfaction Guaranteed" tshirt and his general head movements. Seemed a weak hybrid between Keane and Coldplay, bet they are pro-tooled to hell on record...Copy Haho as usual were excellent, seen them several times and my enjoyment and familiarity with their material improves with every gig, despite the slightly murky sound last night.I don't know what to say about Alamos. I would like to hear them on record as again I had difficulty differentiating between notes and it was rather murky. I think they were pretty good, quite interesting to see the overdriven bass take the centre stage instead of the wiry guitar, providing very thick sound. Some good screamage too.Finished pretty late though, what happened to the much heralded curfew?!Neil Ex should be ashamed for his heckling. For shame! jimr
was the later playing times not due to various band members going to see a hawk in a hacksaw?I don't know as I was denied seeing anything by fiscal terrors. I had not even enough money to secure my entrance, which is slightly depressing since it was payday.
