  1. Debating buying myself a 50 watt/60 watt marshall dsl 2000... but worried its going to be alot quiter than my solid state 100 watt head im using now... any idea how much quiter it will be? im talking purely volume... im totally aware in the difference in tone and sexyness...

  2. Ive got a pedalboard and a bucket load of pedals which i use however... when i decided im going to try and play with the pure marshall tone... i plugged in the footswtich and it works but with a crazy buzz, i tried changing things around and playing without the footswitch but its still not working? any ideas? is it a common thing? thanks in advance for your advice :)

  3. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XOTIC-EP-BOOSTER-CLEAN-BOOST-EFFECT-PEDAL-FOR-GUITAR-BRAND-NEW-/320968264512?pt=UK_Guitar_Accessories&hash=item4abb330b40

Xotic Clean boost (i got a white special edition one by accident but im assuming there the same) it throws out a serious volume boost, tiny and 120 squid but well worth it. I have it rolled down almost to the bare min and i still rise above any other noise trying to drown me out... hey i didnt say i was good at guitar... but i sure am loud ;)

  4. Band from outside Ellon (Hatton) looking to complete there lineup with a singer, We'll be playing classic rock hits and some modern rock aswell, anything from thin lizzy and acdc to foo fighters and snow patrol. We do plan on writing eventually as well. We have been looking for around a year and in that time had alot of folk out and in and we FINALY have a band were happy with so we need a singer to complete it or were just going to call it a day and there will be one more gibson les paul gathering dust in a loft which anyone who knows rock and roll knows is bang out of order!

Age and sex are not important as long as you love rock and roll and love singing, were all aged between 22 and 26 and have a fully kitted garage turned studio! we have a crackin set up and because weve just got a full band again were back at square one so its a good chance to get going without the pressure of learning 100 songs for saturday.

    Cheers,

    Scott

  5. Ive had one for years but never really used it properly because i havent had time to sit down and read the 43,000 pages of instructions that are pretty confusing at best.

Was hoping someone could help me out with using it, got loads of questions, im about to hook it up and buy myself a decent wee condenser microphone and try and record some stuff.

Anyone know any good condenser mics i could look at?

Any help would be good, Gracias.

  6. well tempted but i dont think im good enough to appreciate the difference yet... just got my first gibson les paul and i dont even know what pickups it has... 2003 classic? these emerald pick ups a lot better? i worship thin lizzy so it would be cool....
