The reason I have no bass is because I'm a guitarist before all else! I can also do death vocals

I have heard of a few of the bands mentioned, dying fetus, torture, but ain't listened to them a great deal I'm more into late 80's early 90's Swedish death metal, the likes of entombed and dismember.

I would be interested had I actually had a bass to play
