No matter what you think of the awards, if you are voting we would very much appreciate your vote. Aberdeen Student Radio is nominated for radio station of the year. Not sure how we got nominated either, first thing we heard was someone else telling us that we were nominated haha!

They deserve to be heard." - allgigs.co.uk Vegas Nights are a five piece atmospheric pop group based in Glasgow, Scotland. Formed at the tail end of 2008 they set out to try and combine disparate elements of several generations of great pop music in to a newer sound; most notably taking influence from bands like New Order/Joy Division, The Stone Roses, The Beatles and Pulp. There is also a prominent electronic influence brought on by the bands love of several sub genres of dance music. After gigging extensively across the UK and gaining the odd support with some of their own personal heroes like The Fall, as well as garnering personal words of praise from Joy Division/New Order legend Peter Hook, it seems that they could be well on their way to success.
