  1. Had an outing at E's skate team show at Transtion, old amps in action: Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Sorry about the broken link.
  2. We now have an old A/H series 42 desk. Gigs will be starting at the beach and other outdoor locations imminently.
  3. Inch has a record of putting on relatively big name acts that are well attended - usually at the Station Hotel. This could be a good place to try initially. +1 on Elgin/Lossie area aswell. I have a vintage PA rig for use, including vintage desk if equipment a problem.
  4. Tell me about it. In fact if I put any three of the above heavy metal amps in a rack and it's well over 100kg. Still, who needs a back anyhow? See you had a HH mixer on the bay not long ago. You got a good price for that.
  5. The speakers are also vintage PA gear, consisting of: Cellestion bullets RCF loaded HH horns Emmie 12" flares HH 15" Martin 215 mk2 loaded with PD154 and we are currently developing modified 18" scoops. We are always looking for old gear to refurbish and bring back into service, so if you have old pa gear that needs a good home or saving - please get in touch.
  6. These are the vintage amps we currently use: Amcron DC300a MM Paice AP360 HH S500d Studiomaster 400c Studiomaster 1000 Citronic PPX450 We also have access to Void's and the legendary Amcron MA10,000!

  8. Had a gig at the weekend in an unusual place: On top of a scaffold tower in the centre of a climbing hall. A search light followed competitors in the national finals up a boulding course. Unusual view from the decks, people hanging around by their finger. Kids liked it, but everything had 5mm of chalk dust on it by the end. View from the decks, below is the view the other way:
  9. Yep, I moved the thread to a more relative section.

  13. Sounds like Martin, lol. Kia Ora dj's started there aswell.
  14. All thanks should be given to Martin Bell for getting the ball rolling, if it wasn't for his persistance and dedication it would never of happened. Drakes is solely down to him. We started a night for ALL music (called Four Elements - combining rock, funk, techno and reggae) down at Cellar 35, which we quickly outgrow. Martin then badgered the then owner of La Lambada every waking moment until, in a fit of rage and desperation to get rid of him, he threw the keys to the cellar at him. Martin then set about the place, and the rest is history...
