Selling some of our Yamaha PA gear: Yamaha P3500s Power Amplifier High quality 2x390W (8 Ohm) amp for PA applications (this equals 2x 590W in 4 Ohm). The Yamaha P-series is probably the best amplifier range out there for the price. Its been used as our bands monitor amp, one of the front handles is slightly dented after a bash and both input XLRs locking clip is missing, but it is in 100% working condition. 150 ONO Yamaha MX12/4 Analog Mixer 12 channel in, 4 groups out, i.e. great for a small band. This is an older discontinued model but we put it next to our new Yamaha mixer and it sounds as good / is as noiseless. The only issue is that the built in digital effects processor does not work (it was removed at some point to reduce noise to a minimum). Comes in flight case, 70 ONO Pair of Yamaha Club Series S112iv speakers Bought this from R&Bs about 6 years ago. Great sound thanks to very solid wood construction, especially when paired with the P3500 amp (the amp has circuitry to match to this speaker). The current generation S112v speakers will set you back 560 for a pair. These have been gigged but they are so solid you wont be able to tell. In 100% working condition, 200 ONO with 2 speaker cables. Put these together and youll have the best sounding small PA in Aberdeen for a bargain basement price, selling all together for 390 but be quick before they start snapping up the individual items PM me if interested Pics:

I can recommend the Peavey. This probably applies to all EL84 amps, but to get the best sound, let the EL84s work hard by keeping the master volume high and adjust the volume with an attenuator. Unfortunately this will mean you'll have to get an attenuator, which can be a bit pricey. example: Dr. Z Brake Lite

I have a BBE Sonic Stomp, a couple of years old but never used, it is new in box. Google it for more info - it adds a dimension to amplified sound (best to use it in the effects loop) Retails new for 99 (probably more like 115 at R&Bs) I'd let it go for 50 PM me if you're interested

Thanks for that guys, i contacted CLS, may try the other as well. i was recommended Taylored Sound and saw them in action a couple of times and they are ok but they don't seem very interested in our business, we prefer to go with someone who is enthusiastic.

We are doing a gig in the Forum in December and are looking to hire someone to do professional sound and bring in a good desk and monitors. I tried Taylored Sound but they are very unresponsive and i am tired of chasing them. Can anyone recommend something in Aberdeen? Thanks Karel

Advertising for a friend: 1983 Gibson SG including original case. Made in USA, Serial no 80873672 I had a look at the guitar, it has a couple of issues: frets are a bit square Electronics may have been changed at some point, i don't know about pickups they may or may not be originals Also looks like there was another bridge on at some point The finishing shows it's age and is retouched by some former owner But it does still have a nice solid Gibson feel to it. Nice project for someone. Think he'll sell for 300 - 400 pounds, but if you PM i'll give his phone and you can contact him.

It is definitely quieter than a normal kit, depends how hard you play, you will still have the neighbours complaining if you hit it hard enough, i can tell you from experience. In fact it is probably quite a good kit to gig small venues - easy to transport but still sounds very good. If you use the mesh skins and the rubber cymbal silencers the kit doesn't make any sound at all, but that is boring, so never used those.

Ideal for anyone looking to buy a starter drum kit, practise kit or for a seasoned drummer looking for light easy to transport and to store kit. Great sound, very good condition. Includes hi-hat, snare, base, 3 toms, cymbal, stands etc as per pic. Comes with normal and practise skins and rubber silencer for cymbals. Selling due to lack of space and use. 1987 strat bits and pieces Hi, i have an old 1987 MIJ Fender strat lying about in pieces, black body, maple neck and floyd rose type bridge made by Fender. The problem is that i fitted the neck on another guitar at some point with other location of screws. You'll have to plug these holes and re-drill the old holes.... PM me if you're interested
