I'm interested in trying something a little 'new' or 'different'... tho, the styles have been used together, hence the quotation marks

I'm interested in trying to start an electro / punk / ska collaberative band.

Kind of MSTRKFRT / Justice electro synths and sampling style, mixed with basslines heavy, but still 'funky' like Death From Above 1979, along with ska/punk bands like NoFX, Contra, Rancid and the likes.

Anyway, with this idea, I'm a bassist, so would ideally be looking for: Keyboardist [with synth / sampling], Guitarist, Singer, and drummer. Tho a singer that plays guitar would be ideal ^^

Its a bit different, I know, but I like the idea and hope others would be interested.

Went to see Captain Face, The Marionettes and The Joy Formidable in Cafe Drummond. Missed most of Captain Face so didn't get any pics of them, these are a few of the gig. Some came out blurry, so not that many ^^

minuteman express on kingstreet is no bad pricewise. you can get a3 for around 1 full colour, so for basic double foldable sheets, you'd get 50 for around 30 - 35... not sure about printing to CD tho

and for pixelationwise, the way the cover looks, I'd say its the quality of the image that made it pixelated rather than the printer itself, probably not set to 300dpi for printing or something along that lines

already planned to go, but yeah... woo.

flash would be by far the more complicated way of doing that website

build it up using basic html, splitting into into navigation, content, header or similar

then use css to add the pretty stuff, like positioning the images, the background colour etc etc
