  1. it's alright; the film i mean. they miss out on so so many bands though. the book's good too, i mean it's a book on hardcore, it's bound to be good even though it reads like it's been collated by a child.

  2. if you wanna listen to straight up hardcore/punk rock then you need to get involved with anything that grave mistake records and no way records puts out.

    career suicide, anti-you, everything falls apart, direct control, wasted time, 86 mentality, vogue, damaged goods, fucked up, vitamin x, dean dirg, total abuse, cloak/dagger (genuinely one of the best bands of the last five years) cut the shit, tear it up - would be brilliant examples of what to listen to - but it's so easy to make lists.

  3. seriously mate, don't get me wrong. bad religion are one of my all time favourite bands, i've seen them like five times, got the records and tshirt - just stopped short of getting a tattoo - but fast and angry they're not, at least not anymore. and don't worry mate, i've got a fashionable haircut too.
