  1. I got a 9V ac supply for my Alesis stuff from Maplin at the Hauddagain roundabout. If you want to go there and take along your DM10 I'm sure they'll be able to provide a power supply with an adapter that fits. You could check them out first at www.maplin.co.uk

  2. My thoughts...

SD Lil 59 (bridge) - Little 'twang', expecially on bass strings

Lace T-150 (bridge) - Not bad, but it just doesn't sound like a tele bridge pickup should. Bass strings lack definition

Allparts sell good tele pickups, at a reasonable price too. The Allparts neck pickup sounds fatter than most, almost stratty.

Seymour Alnico 2 pro neck pickup is good, but bridge pickup is said to lack bite by a few reviewers.

One of my teles has just been treated to Seymour vintage stack neck and bridge pickups. They're very well balanced, making the middle switch position very usable. I'm very happy with them. If I hadn't been, the next pickups I'd be trying would be Seymour's five two's. I'd try BK's too.

  3. Boss LS-2 is useful. It allows switching between two effects loops, with individual gain adjustment on each. I sometimes use mine, with no other pedals, to add gain for solos. Another useful feature is that it can mix two inputs. That could be useful if an amp breaks during a gig and would allow a single input amp to have two inputs.

The Boss GE-7 is also a useful beastie in that it has a volume control, so could be used just for boost if the EQ is set flat.
