  1. Manic Street Preachers - Suicide Alley 7" 1988 SBS002 on eBay (end time 28-Feb-11 19:34:03 GMT) Expensive hobby.....
  2. Got a text saying exactly that. Was really pissed off until I noticed it was Colin, not Jimmy.
  3. I must say, that's rather brilliant, well done. Unfortunately my guitar skills are nowhere near enough to play manics lead stuff. Good luck though.
  4. Was a good goal to be fair. Thought the booking was idiotic too, though I don't think the ref wanted to.

    Football Chants

That's a good one. Although its "ten men couldnie carry" Hibs fans singing 'you're so fucking ugly', to Steve Fulton, who replies with a gesture. The ref books him for this. Cue 'booked for being ugly, you got booked for being ugly'
  6. Might as well. Can't hurt. Anyone remember a fan who applied for his teams managers job, putting down his championship manager achievements and things. I think it was for Middlesbrough. Got a reply too.
  7. oh yeah. Equal on points with the huns, 1/4 of the season in, and we're(apparently) playing shiite.
  8. By the way, i'm good. And i'm drunk.
  9. ho oh oh oh, I like the hives. I can't really sing well. To any standard. Probably. But I can drink lots.
  10. Bassist, mostly. Fairly good, if i do say so myself. . At the moment anyway, due to a lack of any other instrument, but I can also play guitar quite well. Can do a bit of singing also. Just looking for a laugh, with the glimmer of hope that something serious would come of it. Something loud and guitary. Along the lines of the clash, ramones, manics, other dirty 3 chord punk. Probably a mix of covers and writing own songs. Drop me a PM, would be best.
  11. Not a season to be relived, thankyouverymuch
  12. Bloody well hope not. I think what's needed is someone without emotional ties, because it doesn't seem to work well. That's 3 legends now. Someone separate, hoping for another Mowbray.
  13. No way, the whole ball wasn't over the line. And there were atleast 2 fouls in the build up to the rangers goal. Apart from that, can't complain. Too much under the cosh in the second half, but defended quite well. Can't believe deeks missed that one in the second half though, if anyone in scotland were to finish that, it would be him. Except then. When he didn't. Ofcourse. Also rangers are pish.
  14. Thought i'd bump this. As i'm still looking to form or join a band.
  15. Just a wee bump, i'm thinking of getting one of these.FENDER SQUIER VINT.MOD. PRECISION OW - U.K. International Cyberstore Though I was tempted by this one, on the sole technical reason that it's green.DEAN GUITARS CUSTOM ZONE BASS NG - U.K. International Cyberstore
  16. i'm a guitarist, bassist. Into my old punk, I currently play bass in an occasional ramones tribute band, and love all that stuff. Clash, undertones. I won't go on, but that would be the type i'd be looking to emulate in some way. But I would say I have a fairly broad, if mostly guitar based, base. I'm a student, if people are mortally offended by that. Or well, there'll be times when i'm distracted, and might not want to practice 3 times a week in the middle of exams, or whatever.
  17. I'm looking for a new bass, because my current one, a cheapo thing, has broken, and i want a nice shiny new one. I'll have a few hundred quid to spend on it, but i'm not entirely sure what i'm looking for. The sort of music i play, ramones/clash etc,(as well as the copy-cat fan in me) makes me want a P-bass. And when i've played Jazz ones, i've not really felt it was the sound I wanted. Anyway, yeah. Bass-ically.(yup, coat got) 2-300 on a bass, for someone who wants to sound something like Dee Dee Ramone and Paul Simonon.
  18. heyhey, what do you play? Sounds like a laugh anyway. I'm a guitarist, and bassist, but my bass is a little broken and crap at the moment. I like the strokes. The arctic monkeys are a bit meh, they're ok I suppose.
  19. haha, that's brilliant. Wasn't a thunderbolt, but it does move in the air a bit. A 'squiggler' i think he called it. Still a howler though, and people claim we have a dodgy goalie...... least we don't have the hole-y goalie.
  20. thanks everyone. sawdust and wood glue paste sounds the idea.
  21. Matchsticks definately would meet budget. And you think that'd hold? I'm fond of my thumb, and other body parts, and wouldn't want it to go and hurt me again. and likely a couple gigs. Thanks. Will try that. Will atleast give me an excuse to jump about with it like a madman (as ah was when it broke, infact...) Testing naturally. ( I realise in my trauma, i posted this in music corner, rather than musicians corner, is someone takes offence, then they should probably get a life, or get it moved)
