  1. Well the night oot went well! We had a good dinner at Musa accompanied by a very good blues guitarist, so we were well mellow and well "watered" by the time we zig zagged over to the Prince and various other hostelries...a rare night was had by all...

Union street was a bit of a zoo though!! OMG!! wisna like that in my day...etc...etc... o_O:nono:

    Sandra the Grumpy Old Wifie!!

  2. Leaves me cold I'm afraid.

You should go see Walter Trout, at the LT on Oct 7th.

THE LEMON TREE LOUNGE : Productions : Walter Trout

Used to to really like Walter until he seemed to lose it in favour of the 'more emotion equals more notes' style. The fact that Walter seems to love Bonamassa and put him on his album just proves to me he's lost it. But that's just me. Check this out-

Joe Bonamassa Jams With Walter Trout!! Video

Got tickets for Walter some time ago, but thanks anyway! I just love my R&B/rock and a live gig especially plus it gets me out of the house!

Signed, Domestic Goddess of Milltimber (or is it desperate housewife??!):D

  3. Can't believe they're still going, and that people still want to see them, even though Phil Lynott is dead. It'd be like paying to go see Michael Jackson's choreographers.

Maybe...I can't believe I'm still going sometimes!.... don't get out much and I'm easily pleased!!:O

  4. There was a Yamaha Pacifica in the window of the Clan Charity shop on Rosemount Place a couple of days ago for 90. Didn't get a close up look at it so it might need a set up or have some problems. Maybe if you went in with someone that was clued up about guitars they could tell you if it was in a playable condition?

    I'll check it out...cheers:up:

  5. Well, we had our guitar recce today after the guitar lesson and my budding rock chick likes the Yamaha Pacifica best. It was a bit lighter and a "cool shape". and she liked the headstock. She had a try out of it and the Squier in BM's and we had a look in R&B too..so we are now wondering whether to pay Aberdeen prices or take the small risk and get it cheaper online...?? It is 239 in Brucies and 249 in R&B but 189- 209... online...:help:
