No way. That is a shame, Its not just a band venue we're losing, its the comedy venue, the good kids shows and a pretty decent lunch on a saturday. I agree that the council shouldnt have to keep bailing them out but at least those of you who live in the city know your money was helping fund a decent venue. Those of us from the Shire have joy of bailing out Archaeolink all the time ! (moan over!)

Whilst i thought KoL were good the crowd seemed to lack any sort of energy which made the gig pretty flat. Not the best gig i've been to at AECC, but then again the AECC is nothing but an aircraft hanger and so the sound is never great there.

I enjoyed them and it was the first gig where i didnt have to move to get a full view of the stage. Even from the back i had a perfect view, probably due to the audience being mainly 13yrs old. Funniest bit of the night was the lead singer of the support miming to there's no business like showbusiness, that appealed to me and had me in stitches.

Ive just finished Into The Wild by Jon Karkauer, which wasnt as good as i expected it to be and Imperium by Robert Harris, which i just couldnt put down.
