I'm really excited about seeing Greater The Shadow again, and I've heard good things about Iname, it should be a good night!

This looks pretty great, three very good bands.

While I like that poster, and i'm probably being really, really fussy, there's a 'uk' on the end of our myspace.

That's no-one's fault but ours. We (I) screwed up with email addresses or something.

Chris Kirkland, 21 now, will be the world's finest goalkeeper by 2008, especially after another five years of shot-stopping practice at the back of Liverpool's attack-shy team.

England will have so much talent up front it will be embarrassing, and other teams may concede games before kick-off to avoid the humiliation on the pitch.

Ashley Cole and Shaun Wright-Phillips will be devastating wing-backs, whose surging runs will leave Italians crying into their capuccinos and Germans blubbing in their bratwursts.

These were my favourite bits. Needless to say why really.

it's worth mentioning that the other aberdeenish-based bands have put on pretty great performances in recent times also

the quality of iname's debut last week exceeded people's expectations and earned them a slot in dundee(?)

ewsif, meanwhile, are to detuned ear-shredding guitar violence and drum-kit battery as ron burgundy is to off-colour suits and epic facial hair

You know what? We may as well split up since we've now been compared to Ron Burgundy.

Also, can't express enough how fantastic a live act Greater The Shadow are. Absolutely mesmorising stuff. Anyone who likes Mogwai, Pelican, Explosions in the Sky, GY!BE or any other post-rock will most likely love Greater The Shadow's live act.

I heard some of this and didn't like her voice, which means that Scarlett Johansson isn't absolutely perfect to me anymore. Kinda don't know how to think about anything just now

Copy Haho get my vote. They've played with Sebadoh for Christ's sakes, that's a great achievement for any band, let alone an Aberdeen band.
