It really is - and I used to be considered a big ranger's fan. I've only been there once when they beat heart's 2-0 but after sitting amongst idiots hardly paying attention to the game and just singing the sash for the 80 minutes they stayed, I won't go back. Shit atmosphere altogether really. It's either a bunch of life's rejects singing about sashes because as individuals they have nothing to offer society other than a sad reminder of history or people watching the game like they're passively watching tv - quiet because the only songs to sing are about being up to their knees in fenian blood.

Just back from Hampden, what a brilliant first ten minutes that was! Referee was an utter fucking toby, at least two stonewall pens turned down. Ukraine were not as much cop as expected.

I thought the ref was actually pretty decent. I dunno if you're counting hutton's claim as a stonewaller but I remember thinking to myself when he started making the run "he's gonna dive here like he did against stuttgart' and I think he did. I don't think there was enough contact to result in him falling over and twisting his body like he always does therefore I think he was just looking for it.

Mcfadden's could have been given but then again so could Shevchenko's.

All in all it was another good performance from the side and it was the first time I remember seeing them comfortably dominate and pass the ball through midfield for large parts of the game against good opposition.

I think both have a really good chance. Rangers with a 6 point advantage although they will probably be on 7 tops after the 2 barca games. To say bring on barca is way too over confident. They were lucky to win against stuttgart and could easily have lost 3-0 against lyon had lyon taken their chances earlier and killed the game off. Rangers have just taken pretty much all their chances which no team can do every game. If they don't stamp more authority on their opponents in their home games and play with more than 1 up front then they'll eventually pay for it. Saying that their defence against lyon was as solid as I've seen in a few seasons Cuellar looking like a good buy.

I had to roll my eyes when some fud from the rangers' supporters association claiming scottish football is better than french because of the rangers and scotland results. My eyes will stop rolling when scottish players are in every top european side and a french win against a scottish side is an upset.

probably since the whole big brother racism row - it sells papers. it's like burning off the last of the deadwood of the old generation to make way for the new. Take 1 old time racist/homophobe, put them in a room full of his 'targets', film it and wait...he's bound to say something that doesn't fit in with the new norms and when he does then blow the story out of proportion like it's really significant national news thus helping to reinforce the new norms of our generation. I've seen it, I thought it was superb. All kind of obvious, seen it before humour but it worked and was still funny as fook.

at least knocked up had characters with more than 1 dynamic. I thought the main character's friends in that movie ruined it by being so dumb and cliche. I think the writer of those movies has issues - divorced parents/cunt of a mother.

I walked out after 40 minutes of it. One of the worst films I've ever seen. Watching a fat kid talking about wanting to fuck girls between the tits is funny for 5 minutes. I spent the next 35 seeing how much worse it could get. The only thing more retarded than the film was that a couple sitting right infront of me brought their daughter (this was in America - I dunno if you can do it in the UK) who couldn't have been older than 7 to see it and both laughed the whole way through.
