  1. Up for sale are two great guitars at fantastic prices, perfect Christmas presents!

First up, my Tribute Legacy Premium, basically a Fender Start type guitar. This guitar is practically mint condition, featuring a Swamp Ash body and hard rock maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. It has been modified with a push/pull volume switch to allow for Bridge+Neck and Bridge+Middle+Neck pickup configurations. The pickups are the same pickups as used on G&L USA models and they are lovely! RRP of this guitar is 480. I'm asking for 225.

Next is my Maverick X1. This guitar has the brilliant LQ-6 humbuckers pickups, and has had a kill switch added. This guitar will be fantastic for all your heavy metal needs. There are a couple of minor dings and pics will be added if required. For anyone who likes low numbers, this particular model is serial number 435. The RRP is 500, I'm asking for 200.

    Offers welcome!

  2. I'd love the G&L but I'm a bit broke just now - I'll look you up when I have cash next and see if you still have it, K?

Absolutely, if it isn't gone then give me a shout.

It is a brilliant guitar, though I should point out that it is a "Tribute by G&L", not a G&L. I guess it's like Epiphone is to Gibson, but the quality and materials are great and the pickups are the real deal.

    Sam.

  3. Hey folks.

I am putting a couple of guitars up for sale.

    1. Maverick X1.

There are a couple of small dents which I'll try to get closeups of if anyone is interested. I have fitted a killswitch to it, it is the little toggle next to the main toggle switch. Also, the main toggle switch could probably do with being replaced, it works fine but doesn't 'clunk' between settings in a satisfying manner.

I'm looking for 200 for collection ideally, though I'll consider close offers.

    2. G&L Tribute Legacy Premium Strat.

A very nice guitar for the money. This has a swamp ash body, hard rock maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The pickups are special, they are the USA G&L pickups and sound brilliant! I have fitted a push/pull volume knob which adds the bridge pickup to any pickup setting, giving neck & bridge together and all 3 together combinations, 7 sounds! This guitar is in mint condition!

I'm looking for 230 for collection, though again close offers considered.

If you are in the Aberdeen area I can deliver by car.

  4. Damn that thing looks nice... if its still for sale in a couple months then i'll pm you. Paying people back with this months pay, buying a new amp with the next months and then after that ive got cash to spare.

Ill just pm when i have the money, hopefully it will be still available.

Yup, just PM when you have money, you never know, it may still be here!

  5. I have decided to sell my Maverick X1 because it never sees any use.

  6. I am not selling an amp (good or otherwise) but I felt I had to express my gratitude to everyone involved in the making of what is a very, very amusing thread!

Although, one area that has been (crimefully ) neglected is the whole vintage/modern debate. If this could be included into the arguments, this thread may just make it into my bookmarks.

  7. I don't know if this is the right area, but it seemed the closest fit!

I have loads of minidiscs which I have no need for anymore, I'd guess there were over 200 at least, most with music on, but I don't need them anymore and rather than chuck them out, I thought someone on here may want to take them off my hands? They are all in good condition.

Make me an offer - anything and I'll let you know if we have a deal.

    Cheers,

    Sam.

  8. Hi guys.

I have a Maverick X-1 for sale. The body is near mint condition, the hardware used to be gun-metal but is coming off to chrome around the bridge, the guitar plays brilliantly, everything works.

It has also been modified with a killswitch, though this is a very subtle addition to be seen next to the pickup selector. Like I said, it is all in perfect working order and sounds meaty with the Maverick LQ-6 humbuckers. For anyone who likes numbers, this is the 435th guitar produced by Maverick.

I'm looking for 300 and will supply it boxed. Pm if interested, thanks.

  9. Hi folks. Sorry to make my first post spam, but I am selling some of my equipment and thought some of you may be interested. I live in central Aberdeen, so if you're in the area I'm sure we can arrange a collection!

I have a Hughes & Kettner Warp Factor distortion pedal. It is as new, not my kind of thing really. Comes in it's box, with power adapter (the circuit runs off 12v rather than 9v, something H&K seem proud of for some reason!). This thing will go from mild distortion all the way to full-on metal and has a 'sub' switch which adds a silly amount of bass to your sound. £40 and it's yours!

PM me or email me at arsambo@hotmail.com. Thanks, Sam.
