  1. k i think i went a bit over the top there with my initial comment, i now realise that yes there can be an 'extreme' category without it being 'extreme metal', and

Aye man, both are total bass genius'. But they both dont know what a bass amp actually does, too busy being bass pioneers. SLAP SLAP SLAP SLAP, FUNK WAAAAAAH, BASSSSS, BOOOOOM.......'FITS THIS GAIN NOB A'bOOT YA SCHWINDAG?'.

i quoted that from stuart maxwell, he was sayin it bout me not bein able to set up my amp properly, dont know if u thought i was sayin it bout ur bassist/s or what, but i wasnt. N e way well done PVH at least one band from stoney is doin well.

  2. stuart maxwell quote

'for the record pvh and filthpact are reyt good and they both have bass players and you can hear what they play when they play in the east neuk.

    so,

techinical ability which you cant hear for shit because the people are so technically gifted that they cant set and amp up properly'

i completely agree that filthpact are good , pvh isnt really my style of music but whatever floats ur boat,(i didnt say n e thing negative about the bands did i?) and with regards to the amp comment, im sure u could set up an amp youve never used before perfectly without a proper soundcheck(easy if its your own amp), and i dont see how this has n e thing to do with my comment. does my comment even mention cranial in ne way, i dont consider us of extreme metal standards by a long shot..

  3. ????aberdeen what went wrong????

LOL this thread is a joke the only band remotely extreme in that list is Filthpact, I wish u scenesters would learn what extreme music is before u make a category for it and fill it with alternative noise. Try giving cryptopsy a listen and then listen to n e of these 'extreme bands' and youll realise...hang on there not extreme! funny eh. extreme music generally involves extremely technical playing, which is pretty much non-existant in aberdeen because it takes alot of time and effort to achieve, and im afraid the aberdeen scene seems quite lazy -music-wise at least, i know theres plenty of people wantin to gig and 'look cool'

    :nono:

i look forward to your irate replies

  6. what a show

oh yeah i agree with every1 here it was AMAZING, the band have awesome stage prescence and they were extremely tight. The night peaked for me when Justin thru his plectrum and it hit me on the shoulder, i reached down and there it was! First time i got sumthin from a concert for ages and i was sayin just before the gig on the way down how Justin was easily one of my fave bassists!Had a gr8 time except for the fact that people were constantly pushing forwards and i had a girl complain at me cuz 'i was in her face'(WTF IM GETTIN PUSHED ABOUT U STUPID BITCH!)(what is with that, if people dont wana have a jump about then move away from the 'pit' area instead of complaining). other than that seeing Tool play the whole 10,000 days title track was mindblowing, i lost my voice by the end from all the singing along and shouting, and there were a few people i came across who more than made up for n e negativity i experienced by being extremely cool! that was the third time ive seen tool and every time theyve been better!

get this feelin their not goin to stick around much longer.....
