  1. Simply remove the hard disk from your old computer and connect it to the new computer and copy the files directly from one hard drive to the other. If you just take the wires out of your CD rom drive and connect it temporarily to the old hard drive you won't need to change any jumper settings. Then connect it back. If you computer is any good the IDE cable will only fit the correct way onto your hard drive. Use google for more advice...it's a piece of piss. Do NOT pay anyone any money for such an easy task as this....

  2. Jumping on the PC bandwagon' date=' he is right.....she may have somehow 'provoked' this through some sort of stupidity and teenage naivity, but a teenage error doesnt deserve a sexual assulting.[/quote']

What the fuck is PC about supporting his statement?! Surely one doesn't need to be holier than thou to agree that rape / sexual assault IN ANY FUCKING CIRCUMSTANCES is WRONG....there are no fingers to point in this case, no ifs, no buts....as for the suing the website, hey thats the American way...the fact that people are trying to say "stupid bitch for meeting someone"....please fuck off to 'Perfect Island' as you supreme intellect beings are wasted in this town I'm afriad...

  4. I just downloaded that song' date=' E-rotic shut up and sleep with me, it's funniest thing like ever, i love that song!!!![/quote']

The video for that was strange...I'm sure the woman was 25 years older than the guy, and 110% more straight

"you are young...you are free...why don't you sleep with me"

  5. moshulu's floors are stickier than you'd think' date=' particularly near the bar. i make this mistake every obedience school when i'm wandering over to the bar during the day, mid-getting changed and i stupidly hit the carpet in my barefeet. that feeling is so nasty![/quote']

I'd rather take sandpaper to my scrotum I think....

  6. it is indeed the "none more black" unfortunatly its never given me the sound i need for the band' date=' it gives a great sound but just not what i need.

the photon is a usb midi controler with added audio ins and outs.

it can be used as an external soundcard a midi keyboard and a midi controler all at once.

unfortunatly not compatible with the software i use....[/quote']

Lace sensors are favoured by the likes of Clapton, Jeff Beck, Richie Samboara....etc...if you're after that weak tone they'll do, but if you want real tone, you need pick ups with visible magnetic poles....seriously....once the poles start to rust they take on this whole new characteristic of their own!!!

  7. Production is subjective and one small part of production is an "appropriate level" for the various instruments' date=' vocals etc, which is also open to personal preferance.[/quote']

"Appropriate levels" are very important in a production....and very much an easy reality with the automation found in much of today's software sequencers. If your mix down doesn't conist of at least a few "fader rides" on various channels.....nothing is going to stand up and take lead and "move you" in the direction of a track.

One Eyehategod album was recorded on a 4 track with 2 room mics and most would consider it to be 'badly' produced but the sound they got fit the band well and make the album better than if if was ''well'' produced.

Hehe....some of the Eyehategod stuff is the best produced stuff I've ever heard simply because they always capture the spirit of those guys live (ever seen them live? 8o ) and the guitars are left as raw and distorting as possible before tape which always makes them screech and screm when one guys stops playing which makes it so exciting to hear.....

"dopesick" is fantastic, the more recent album, they polished it up a bit and distorted the vocals (mikes vocals are sick enough) and it didn't cut the same)

  8. Sounding exciting.....get out of the computer and onto the stage....needing to see some decent bands before I leave this place. What sort of vocals do you envisage over this. Would be the make it or break it point for me.

My only criticsm (if you can call it so) is that is sounds like it was sequnced in Linux and not a nice quality Windows Application! :p What gave me that idea?!?!

EDIT: they keyboards maybe don't do so much for me as the sound flattens out here....too easy listening....try slamming in some horrible sounding Juno synth.....might not work but should keep the feel discordant

  9. Nah that site is bull man....come on!!

but anyway...Lightning Bolt...I feel are two guys escaping a "normal life" to travel around the world just fucking about on the drum and bass. While I would normally encourage this, I don't feel they offer anything to anyone expect five minutes of agression which could be easier found. There are a lot of people who detest people who avoid working on this website so I find it strange people would support this band....basiically...everyone who attented the gig has the potential to do the exact same, but the band have this internet meme about them which insures packed gigs all imitating the videos the audience have spend so long analysing.....it would have been cool if the venue told these guys "fuck off..play on the stage like everyone else" and the crowd just sat up the back like they do for most local gigs, I think you would have seen a very different band playing, with strong ADHD overtones riniging true.... "come on guys.....why aren#t you acting out our fantasy!!! you fucking lame audience!!".... I;ve seen it before with American bands who were shit but though they deserved the resepect of the British audience simply because they were American. I find it very strange than I have seen many bands slightly similar in style to these guys play Aberdeen over thse course of the years ( I have attended a W I D E diversity of gigs!!!) and no one was interested in seeing the unknown bands (despite being arguable better!!!!!!) when the bands which have the meme thing going (internet phenomenon for all you n00b5) everyone packs out the venue, then returns to their normal life the day after which is so out of balance with what they have just experienced .....rendering it completely pointless.....

I personally like to leave gigs inspired....I avoided the lightning bolt gig for this particular reason as I knew it meant nothing really......stupid guy witha stupid mask....so what...everyone at that gig could make that incoherent racket...hence I reckon you insult your own intelliegence by giving them time.......they didn't have to get up the next morning and go to work.....they got up....ate at someone else's expense...travelled at someone else's expense....had a blast...just a jam basically.....and everyon there paid for their laugh...then goes home to complain about free loaders who they pay for while oblivious to the pathetic "artistes" they just witnessed....

Seriously...stand outside captain toms most night and you can heara similar noise.....do your stupid scripted dance to that.....

  10. Any chance of Shawshank redemption? Not a very hardcore film but would be funny (in a sad way) to see folks crying in the bar (i know I would....I never got to experience it in the cinema, only on the small TV at home)
