  1. I can only assume it was for "shock-proofing" in case we suffered from a massive earthquake/generic natural disaster. Heaven forbid...

    p.s. he did include Bouncer's death..strictly a character?

  2. Now I know this is goin to sound like a "i actually did it but it's embarrassing so i'll say it was a friend" story but a guy that I went to school with, everytime a character died would tape it on good old trusty VHS, wrap it up in toilet roll and then put it in a shoe box which he then stored in his cupboard.

    100% real life

  3. Living in a small town during my teenage years, my only source of music (pre-internet) was the 'Record Fayre' that would visit town on a monthly basis. As a result I spent all my hard earned cash on any vaguely rock-y CD i could find. These included a Spineshank album, early Nickelback (oh the shame) and one by Dog Eat Dog (who are maybe a bit like David Hasselhof now as apparently they are popular in Germany/Austria/Eastern Europe).

However I would classify my worst album as Linkin Park - Live In Germany which, from the sound quality was recorded by a wee manny with a dictophone. And also they suck live.

  4. Hindsight is a fine thing...but when we're young and impressionable we can't really be held responsible for our musical tastes. So there's obviously a few horrors hiding in the back of your wardrobe. I feel I need to own up in a confession style.

    First album - D:Ream - Volume 1

First single - Blur - Country House

First compilation - Now 32 (purely because it had Coolio - Gangsta's Paradise)

Go on...share your horrors...let it all out...I feel better already.

  5. Some embarrassments found on my playlist:

Ini Kamozi - Here Comes The Hotstepper

    Various tracks by Kelly Clarkson

    " " " Ashlee Simpson

Toto - Hold The Line & Africa

Various tracks from the "nu-metal" compilation Supercharged including P.O.D. - Alive

    A - Starbucks and Nothing

    and the list goes on......

  6. I have alpen! Nobody beats the mikey. You'd better be coming out on friday for the gig. All our hits will be out on display! You can even taste our steel.

Steel-tasting optional? Go on, I want you to ask for your Blackberry back like a girl. I HAVE HIT THE MOTHERLOAD!

  7. Tonight's snow has scuppered my chances of a moonlight stroll this evening so looks like it's the old interweb for me again tonight. Anyone got any ideas for new music/bands to download or indeed an old classic that I (and time) may have forgotten? Please help, I've just been watching Gillian McKeith prodding poo...

p.s. since when did Gillian McKeith become the official food watchdog and have the right to try and ban butteries?
