    The next one's on Feb 21st which is going to be more of a punky one with Five Finger Discount, Crashdown, The Upstarts and others, then in April there'll be another metal extravaganza HOPEFULLY featuring the return of one of Aberdeen's most missed metal bands.

    Awesome gig! Cheers to all the bands who played, hope to work with you all again in the future. Shame about technical difficulties in the WSBB set, but they were still amazing.

  11. Does Anyone REALLY Like Mince Pies?!?!?

    because of the seasonal nature of said dish I can never remember if i actually like them or not. I lived most my life under the assumption that I did not. However I ate one last year and my flatmate assured me I actually quite enjoyed it. So at the same exhibition this year (being an annual event) I helped myself to a mince pie.

    And I fucking hate them.

    I'm pretty sure I forced you to eat mince pies that night you came round and me and my flatmate had mulled a huge panfull of wine. Were you just being polite, or am I mistaken and you just had a Cadbury's Mini Yule Log (which are AMAZING by the way)!

    Sorry, I know you'll be there but am still excited by this new feature! Woohoo!

    I'm so looking forward to this night, even though I'll be sitting on the door and not able to join in the fun. You guys have to come over every now and again and tell me a joke or something so I won't feel left out!

    Official Tunnels Response

    I have just spoken with the owner and was reassured that The Tunnels had no idea about the unethical actions of this particular promoter. We will be in touch with him tomorrow and the night will be cancelled.

    However, bands which had been booked by Silver Fox to play Jan 8th may still play at The Tunnels, but with all monies from the door being split between the bands, as is customary.

    Could any bands who ARE booked for this, please PM me ASAP to make the necessary arrangements.

    The Tunnels apologises for any inconvenience caused by this individual and strongly advises any other band against dealing with him.

    Fuck! Just stumbled across this thread. Will be going to the Tunnels now to investigate. Will post if I find out anything. I can pretty much safely say that we would never knowingly have anything to do with this sort of bullshit, and I can only hope that those of you who have had associations with the venue know that

    I've been eating rather a lot of them over the festive season, but have realised that although they're not bad, I don't like them THAT much.

    A quick review of my friends revealed that they too ate many mince pies over Christmas but not a single one REALLY liked them and it was more a force of habit.

    So if there's anyone out there who does, please speak up, as this issue is bothering me more than it should!
