  1. The best band for me was The Magic Numbers. You could tell that must be the best show they've ever played. The crowd reaction for them was crazy. Did no one else see them?

Totally agree, they were amazing, def one of the highlights of the weekend and whoever didn't see them missed out.

  2. Hahaha' date=' does everyone go to T in the Park to get drunk?

Sorry this post has been brought up again by the way, i just thought it was funny.

Going with my Mam and her chum so I'll be on my own most of the days. They dont want to camp either so I'll be staying at a travel inn rather than camping. Does that mean Iv been robbed of some of the experience?

    fred[/quote']

You may enjoy about 10% of the full experience by just going to see the bands and not camping n getin pissed.

Although i dare say you will remember alot more than most of us.

  3. Just back just now. What a great gig, they have the roses down to a tee. The lead singer was well up for it and really got the crowd going. Probs the best tribute band ive seen and would def go and see them again. The setlist was good aswell.

    Anyone else see them?

  4. I do it every year, get my hair cut in bout april then just b4 i go on holiday, usually july then grow it again til next april, give or take a few litlle trims. I hate the middle stage where its too long to style but not long enough to keep it down. Although i do notice that i pull alot more with short hair.

Check us having conversations about hair

  5. with the kaiser chiefs playing at the us gig' date=' i think they must be goign for a profile boost

there are others too but this was one that stuck in my mind[/quote']

yeah i would def agree with you there, of course in a situation like this there will be bands who are doing it for publicity but not every other band as some people seem to think

  6. I don't think you can say that every single band are doing this to get a bigger fanbase. I don't really think paul mccartney is doing this so he sells more records. I have to agree with Damon and top marks for saying something and rejecting doing it because he believes its not for the right reasons. However i cant see any harm coming from this, nobody will come out worse from it. I dont think theres anything wrong with organising a gig full of the 'top bands' and having a good time about it.

  8. The Others with the Rakes and the Ludes.

Not the best bands ive seen at the lemontree but was the best night. I think the others are really good live, especially liked the mini stage invasions and the on stage girl fight. The afterparty was a really good laugh aswell.

Really looking forward to the complete stone roses

  9. i started listening to the new album in the car today, im only on about track 8 but what i heard sounded really promosing. Def going to the lemon tree gig, what a great weekend, s&d on the friday and the complete stone roses on the sunday. Big up the lemontree
