  1. I'm looking for a guitar teacher. I run a business called "mobile Music" teaching in Primary school all over the north east. At the moment I have one school looking for a teacher. Two hours work, group tuition, 21 pupils at 2.00 per pupil. There will soon be more schools wanting guitar - it may become a full time job.

I'm also opening a new music school in Inverurie next month called "Inverurie School of Music". I'm needing a guitar tutor there too because the enquiries are coming flooding in.

    Interested?

  2. I know someone looking for a bass player aged between 30 and 40 but he might well be interested.

PM me with your email address and I'll send you his contact details.

Dont listen to them, when it comes to age, musicians with more experience and a few more years behind them are the best you can get. Me being one of them :0)

  3. Hi there,

I'm looking for a guitar teacher to teach in Primary schools around Aberdeenshire. I have an Instrumental service running through school and the work for a guitar teacher has started coming in. At the moment I have one school in the Aboyne area with 21 pupils wanting guitar lessons. You would be paid £2 per pupil which would be £42 for just two hour (Groups of 5/6)

Please let me know if you are inetersted.

  4. Hi there............... loads of interest but just to update you..............

I'm setting up an all Female band. We already have keys and one singer but we're looking for a front line of three or four singers (got 2)and ofcourse lead guitar, bass (might have 1) and drummer - although I'm not holding my breath with finding a female drummer but you never know there may be one out there !! (Blimey - we have one !!)

You wont be expected to pay out for any practice room costs as I am financing all costs myself.

We're looking to use a wide range of styles, Lucy Sylvas, Robbie Williams, Aretha Franklin, Tom Jones, KT Tunstall, Christina Aguilera, James Blunt, Stevie Wonder, 80's and 90's classics - anything with good scope for excellent harmony and powerful vocals.

Interested? We could take Aberdeen by storm !! I've already run a successfull band like this in the Midlands a few years ago but had to relocate here with work in 2003.

So come on ......................... Females - lets show them what we can do.

    Fingers crossed !!

  5. Ah ..................... now I get the picture - gilr band !!!!!

I'm a christian and have been for more than twenty years - infact church is where I played the paino from the age of 11years. Are you seriously inetersted?

  6. Well for a starter I own two successful businesses, without trying to blow my own trumpet, so I can afford it. Also if I were to say when and where the practices where to be and for how long then I should be the one paying for it. In my mind, if I recruited someone for one of my businesses, then asking them to pay towards the cost of running it would be stupid - I'd never get anyone to work for me. Am I unusual then?

  8. Hi there, I'm expanding my teaching business throughout Aberdeenshire and I'm looking for piano and keyboard players of a good standard who might be interested in teaching children of primary school age. Experience is prefered but training can also be given. Even if you feel you're at about grade 5/6 standard I can train you up to teach at primary school level. Rates of pay are to be around 20 per hour. Own transport is needed.

Anyone interested? Could end up being a full time job. (During school hours)
