Agreed, i watched the first series of arrested development this weekend and can't wait to see the second (dvd is on it's way)

I'm 29, grew up in the country, went to Cults Academy, Aberdeen Uni and College.
Now live in Aberdeen and wish i still lived in the middle of nowhere (have noisy neighbours, i prefer hearing the odd cow mooing to crap music blaring through the walls at night)

I didn't think much of the 1990s either, arrived late, missed half their set and wasn't that bothered.
Thought Editors were great, they were the band i wanted to see most (along with the Rakes
) and i wasn't disappointed.Enjoyed Franz too, was a bit worried cos some of the live stuff i'd seen before was awful (think it was the Johnathon Ross performance that was the worst), but they put on a good show (agree with the others who mentioned it, the three drummer bit was really good).

The Rakes are sorry to annouce that they are having to canceled their support slots with Franz Ferdinand at Aberdeen on the 21st and Glasgow on the 22nd of Nov.
This is due to the band having to travel back to London to record their performance on Later with Jools Holland.
We are sorry to any of the fans that were hoping to catch us on both these nights

I thought it was a pretty good attendance for a friendly, and the crowd were really loud, escpecially when we scored and the England result came up on the scoreboard (tv highlights never sound as loud)
Apart from the first 20 minutes, when we were just plain awful, we didn't play that bad.

Neither' date=' if you get the region 1 set from play there is a chance of getting caught by customs (a pretty big chance as i was always having to pay an extra tenner) Get it from loaded247.com, you pay a little extra (34.99) and they pay your custom tax if the DVD is caught.
And, according to the bloke my Dad was annoying in Silverscreen they can only legally release episodes that have been show here, hence the half series set.
Up to episode 4 on Series 2 now!I'm up to episode 5, the internet is a wonderful thing
