    Hey. Thanks for the comments, I appreciate you taking the time to have a listen and comment. However, from our point of view, for a song that's only 4 and a half minutes long, the only common denominator in it is the pre-chorus/chorus combination, with the rest of the song having complex time signatures and varying parts ahoy, which in our book adds a progressive edge. We've got some more new stuff coming, so keep an eye out, perhaps it'll become more obvious with that..! Thanks again.

    Since the summer of 2004 theyve shared the stage with the likes of Aconite Thrill, Alexisonfire, Bleeding Through, Cult of Luna, Days in December, Hand to Hand, Hiding With Girls, Hollywood Ending, Johnny Truant and The Bled, they've released 2 self-financed EP's, featured in the GoNorth Music Industry Showcase of new Scottish talent, and have driven to the other side of the country to play, in the last quarter of 2005, they will partake in a full tour of England, Scotland and Wales, and theyre from right here in Aberdeen, theyre My Minds Weapon, fusing the progressive, metal and hardcore genres together while writing hooks thatll stick in your head for days. Proceed hail from Hertfordshire, and have just released debut Mirror Blind, their debut record, to much avail. 7 Stone lighter hail from Glasgow and have supported the likes of New Found Glory, Funeral For A Friend, thisGIRL, Million Dead, Shouting Myke and Firstborn and take influences from a wide scale of bands such as Interpol to Glassjaw.

    Cut the mustard in terms of those who decide, not in my opinion silly.

    The point that you're all missing is that the bands you're talking about are playing a young band showcase, that's been billed to the people coming up for GoNorth as what'll be coming from Aberdeen in coming years, not what we have to showcase at the moment...Gone2Far, The Desert Eagles and bands of that ilk..

    The Aberdeen music scene isn't all about you y'know, so stop your whining!

    Which favourites are playing, and who are they favourites of? We're playing because we put in demos and bios and have our shit together, we got asked to play by Robert Hicks, who I've never met and certainly doesn't know us, the only person involved we know is Dave Stewart at the Foyer, and the only reason we know each other is because I went to him for some advice, and very valuable it was too, another resource open to all that's ignored. GoNorth is anything but a joke, it's just a shame that people don't capitalise on it..
