  1. I liked the zwan cd.

the problem with them was that they really, really couldn't play live. from what i've seen, anyway. it was abysmal, and billy corgan kept getting visibly pissed off with his bandmates for fluffing up. the recorded material sounded like a different band.

  2. Chamberlin will not be a problem. Iha will be talked round. The problem is with the bass. D'arcy and Billy have never got on' date=' and Mellissa auf der mer is busy with her own thing. I would love the proper line up to reform though...[/quote']

i think melissa auf der maur would be first to rejoin, to be honest. she was pretty disappointed with the reception of her album, and rejoining the pumpkins certainly wouldnt do her profile any harm. where is d'arcy anyway? i thought she wanted to be a movie star?? so many questions, not enough answers for poor old boss.

  3. Aberdeen's nae that great' date=' last time I checked, we were still self-harm capital of the world, or britain, or europe, or something.[/quote']

where'd this info come from? was it journal published or a feature on richard and judy? i'm interested. from my time spent studying in the psychiatric sector, i was never really aware that it was a particularly major problem here, infact i couldnt get enough info to do my elective project on it. maybe if i'd known this i could've changed my angle and done a major exposee! i don't know why aberdeen gets such a hard time to be honest. i quite like it here.

  4. why did smashing pumpkins break up? i just thought they all came to the conclusion they wouldnt be arsed anymore, or was there something more sinister?

i'd like for them to reform. i had siamese dream on this morning, lying in bed, thinking about not thinking about exams. it was lovely.

  5. i'd have MOLLESTER STALLONE vs. BARRY 'TATOFUSS' BIFFSHIRE, drizzled in olive oil and fried until i can smell sexual gratification

seriously though, what about polly jean againt nick cave, they remind me of each other.

'is this desire' vs 'and no more shall we part'.

i couldnt choose. maybe id play one after the other, is that ok?

  6. I concur' date=' the new Weezer album is their worst yet, by a long strech.

Maladroit was the best I think, followed by pinkerton.

In fact it's so bad I was thinking of returning it 8o[/quote']

this is sad news. i'd say everything after pinkerton's let me down in an 'it's just not weezer though' kind of way, although i guess it IS weezer and im being stupid and i just find them frequently disappointing because pinkerton blew me away. maladroit's grown on me begrudgingly like a fungating tumour ruining my youthful looks. i dont like to talk about it. I think the subways should change their name to 'the shit subways' and corner the 'scat baguette' niche of the internet ive been championing to friends and family for the past few months.

  7. The gig was amazing' date=' took lots of pictures, which I will try and get in my gallery at some point this week.[/quote']

    that would be good!

i'm sad i missed them. darned exams. what did they play? suspended animation stuff?

  8. they wouldn't spawn wholesome children though' date=' because tom cruise is sterile, which is why he adopted his kids with nicole kidman.[/quote']

well i dont know much about tom cruise's semen, but i have been told know nicole kidman has a chromosomal abnormality making her infertile with ambigously sexed genitals.

  9. Do you not wish Morris had died in the balcony drop. He's such a tube.

I didn't think it was that great an episode' date=' infact i've found this whole series pretty hard to get into. None of the characters are that exciting.[/quote']

    I second that.

I can't help but be excrutiatingly irritated by that alex kid. maybe he'll get 'dropped off' 'somewhere nasty' in the next series.
