I think the Simpsons jumped the shark when every episode started to revolved around Homer and his increasingly "crazy" stunts, basically sidelining all the other characters. The Simpsons used to be a show about a family and now....most of the episodes in the later series are about Homer becoming an artist/missionary/trucker/Burn`s Buttmonkey etc. It used to be that Springfield had a flimsy grounding in reality, which allowed situations to evolve naturally. Now its about Homer doing something mad that actually makes no sense even in the context of the episode, whilst interacting with gratutious celebrity appearances shoehorned into the episode by the writers.

What annoyed me most, was the complete pointlessness of the Ring 2. The first one didnt need a sequel at all.

The bit in the bath with the flying water was unintentionally hilarious.

Though even that bit with the well, the scariest part of the entire film in my opinion. Seemed silly in retrospect, why did Samara wait till Rachal was half way up the well before chasing her and how did Rachal get up the well so easily considering Samara cudnt get up it in seven days when she was stuck down there? It just seemed to me, lazy writing.

I just thought the pacing was well off in this film, It jus seemed to meander on for ages, nothing worthwhile happening for at least the first forty-five minutes. The whole film seemed to trivialise the first one, and i dont think it was half as scary as the first film.. Oh and the Stags looked so cartoony at some points that they looked like they were made from rubber.

Hey did anyone else think the American remake of the Ring2 was a bit rubbish?I liked the first one but this was one was just silly.

It was just a very silly film. I personally felt sorry for all the high calibre actors forced into a one note performance by a script that only required them to give each other mystic glances and talk in hushed tones in a weird olde worldy way. I mean surely stalwarts such as William Hurt and Sigonoray Weaver should be given better roles that that! The only charcater with any resonance was the blind girl...and as for that romance. The blinds girls boyfriend was rubbish.I dont think a love story can really work if the other half has a complete lack of personality
