  1. I think whatever your faith or belief the pope was a man to be admired. As mentioned earlier he did a lot of good for people' date=' and devoted his whole life to others. To say the news of eastenders 'stars' getting their ends away is as important as the death of one of the most worthy men on this planet is utter stupidity.[/quote']

The pope neever apologised on behalf of all those cunts of preists who fucked little kids. So really, he's can't be all that great.

  2. The probably arnt' date=' but i imagine they benefit his life a lot more than the pope ever did.[/quote']

    HAHA

How many of us here are Catholics? And out of that number, how many of us visit church on a regular basis? And out of that tiny minority, how many of us actually took 2 seconds to think about how great the Pope was when he was still alive?

    Not many? No?

Just because somebody dies doesn't mean to say we should like them any more than when they were still alive.

Make sense? Or are too many people just scared of the voodoo surrounding the death of God's Chosen One?

Kay, I know that likely made no sense, but..

  3. it's ace. sometimes you get the odd duff track but all in all it's pretty good. it all has a certain lou barlow sound about it(fairly distinctive voice and way of singing i guess). if you've never heard sebadoh or folk implosion then a very basic way of describing it might be to say snow patrol are desperately trying to be sebadoh but slightly happier. and without the jason lowenstein screams. or lou barlows screams for that matter. sebadoh always treaded a fine line between beauty and bloody anger. folk implosion were a bit steadier on the quieter side but with some bloomin brilliant songs.

the new album is just lou barlow on his own and sounds as you'd expect if you've heard his other stuff. it's fairly melancholy stuff and it's not fast moving but it sure has some lovely songs and tunes on it.

i don't know if any of that is helpful' date=' i'm not very good at describing such things. :)[/quote']

    Cheers :)

  4. It doesn't sound that trashy. I can't imagine the BBC glamorised this stuff:

I actually found a BBC programme that followed a few heroin addicts around quite graphically disgusting recently' date=' it was tragic to see what a shitter of a life this one guy led. Maybe you were watching Judge Judy at the time.

Seems like you're pissed off about having nothing to be pissed off about.[/quote']

    Nicely put

  5. I must say, I'd rather watch a documentary about junkies and their effect on their communities than 'Big Brother' or 'Celebrity Fat Club' or 'The Games' or whatever other bullshit they show.

At least by watching a documentary one might get a bit of an insight into a different way of life. What is there to learn from watching Jade Goody eat Cockroach larvae?

  6. Ok... problem solved, ventured out to the garage in a pair of flip-flops and cleaned off the green paint/stain stuff.

My mum found the foot print (not difficult, as it's right on the middle of the floor..) and went a little bit apeshit. Uh-oh.

Ta much for all suggestions people :)

  7. woops sorry forgot dawns username had dawn in it.

Um yeah' date=' so well done with the whole facts checking thing sophie - i'll see you at the gig will I ?[/quote']

I might be in attendance. As long as you promise to discourage your fans from asking me to 'buy' for them or trying to get me to 'bring-tha-mosh' or telling me how stoned they are because they over did it on the Lucozade. That might mildly upset me.... ;)

And I apologise. Didn't really think about the under-18s thing too carefully.

    Yup.
