The girl who lives above me just plays really bad music (ie, delta goodrem/um/am or whatever she's called etc) and sings as loudly as she can along to it. Her voice is usually louder than the music, and it just goes on for hours and hours and hours. (I would like to add that her singing is absolutely awful)

She actually never shuts up. Also, she must be the size of a whale because the amount of banging noises that come from upstairs is ridiculous.

Oh, and right now she's watching sex in the city. (Yeah, I can hear her tv too).

Yeh we will find out about the others but it will still focus on other stuff like it has done in other seasons.

Last night I was making bolognese for a couple of friends and one of them decided to be helpful and undo the lid. I didn't see her do this and picked it up really quickly and spilt it everywhere. Even on my slippers, I was quite upset.

It's not the end of the world though, the slippers cleaned up AND we still have enough to cook with.

I went in expecting it to be not very good after reading this thread but I really enjoyed it.

I haven't read the book, but I found it all really interesting.

On a side note, did anyone else notice that Tom Hanks looked about 20 years youngerthan he has done for the past 5 years?

NO. The flashbacksare not fleshed out all and could be done so much better and if you notice they actually give little subplot to any of the characters true personalities only to what they have been through. Thats why almost everyones a fucking mystery, even A type Jack.

If you havent noticed any of the "oh its a cat" type scenes you cant be watching it. Its riddled with these every episode, they are not good. Writers use these to fill in time. Much like why Lost has almost ten minutes of flashback on the previous episode, not to help people along.

Example off the top of my head, when the blonde with the baby comes out of the woods. A good 5 minutes is wasted watching rustling bushes. Call it suspense if you want, but thats not what it is.

It's not shite. If it was that shite you wouldn't watch it or take the trouble to download it.

The flashbacks are crucial to the story; if it was a bunch of people just on an island, it'd be shit. But they all have pasts that are pretty interesting and they all seem to relate, which is more interesting, and now they'll all together so it makes for a good story. And Enigma is a good thing. It's nice for a tv show to make you want to figure things out for yourself, instead of just being handed all the answers straight away, which is why so many people download it every week!

I haven't noticed any of the "scary scary cat moments" either.

That episode was so good. I CAN'T wait for the two hour finale!

I love Sawyer, he's just, wow. He better live through this season! At the end of the first season I was so upset when I thought he might be dead!

I hope the last episode isn't a let down!

I have been doing some open learning stuff out of Dundee college because Aberdeen was full up.. had to go a few times for exams.. and I have hated it.

Neds by the boat load, and scary ones! One of my tutors insisted upon walking me through the college car park at 7pm because it's "not safe to walk through alone".

And there's always an old lady at the bus station who stands and talks to herself and stares at people..

Paper two, the report was easy. Paper 1, the three essays, well the first two were perfect.. but the last one was shit. My tutor had only given me unit three a little over a week ago, and he said that I obviously didn't have time to complete it all (his fault) and told me specific things to revise, that didn't come up.
