  3. Gash

    Why so?

    dunno, its a bit complicated

drummer was in another band, so he kinda gave up on this one. then his other band broke up, so asked to do this one again, and i just said no. it was a delightful lack of communication, though

    i'm nobodys bitch. haha

  4. perfect condition, pretty solidly put together flightcase/pedalboard combo. In black, no scratches, no dents, nothing.

54 cm by 32 cm, never gigged, never actually used to be honest because the band broke up. I'll throw in some velcro with it.

cost me 50 about a month ago, so say 40?

  5. squier deluxe telecaster. one of these:

Squier Telecaster Custom, Maple, Electric Guitar, Squier Merchant City Music - The Guitar Specialists

not very old, less than a year! gigged once, and has been modded with bare knuckle nailbomb and mississippi queen pickups (worth about 100 pounds each and sound amazing, as any bare knuckle pickup user will testify), new control knobs and a new input jack (as normal tele input jacks are complete shit, this one's a proper one.)

plays and sounds excellent, and is physically in great condition. will be set up prior to sale!

    230 quid?

  6. I fail to see the appeal in paying extortionate sums of money to watch someone play a song you've heard endless times before on a cd you can probably buy in asda. Unless of course you idolise the band and think that seeing them perform live somehow brings you closer to them, or think that in 50 years time you'll tell your grandkids "i saw radiohead live in 08".

so you've never seen any artist you like play live before?

i like live music. and radioheads live shows are somewhat of a spectacle. its a shame that you clearly dont like anything ever, but tbh, i don't really care :)

    goodbye

  7. sounds like a totally pointless and expensive outing to me, although I suppose if you're the kind of gullible loser that idolises people like tom yorke you probably deserve to be ripped off for every penny you have anyway.

i don't idolise thom yorke, i like his music. i'm quite sure its the same about anyone else who went to this gig.

that's all there is to it, i'm afraid. sorry to ruin your moment :)

From where I was last night the crowd was great, much better than at Meadowbank (where the crowd did seem completely full of arseholes).

Radiohead were on great form a fantastic performance. The setlist was amazing, i was expecting and looking forward to a lot of In Rainbows and I got them all except House of Cards which is my least favourite from the album. The mix of the older songs was perfect, the return of Like Spinning Plates to the set was a nice suprise. Idioteque was a great closer.

agreed, i thought the rain made the gig :) they did 2+2=5 at exactly the right time in the set, and brought out a storming ending with idioteque.

was cool to see Hunting Bears tagged onto the end of The National Anthem too, a nice touch

  8. Paul Mackie.

He was the singer in the Darkest group too.

they got the love fist thing because the guy who does the music for Rockstar is from aberdeen.

fact. his sister's one of the managers at primark.

  9. bat for lashes were pretty good, very weird. nice array of strange instruments too :)

radiohead were scintillating - easily the best i've seen them. The umbrellas were fucking annoying, but i think that the rain made the gig.

Thom's a cheeky cunt though, heh. those who were there will know what i'm on about.

  10. there's a place around about aberdeen that does custom hardcases for guitars/racks etc i think - anyone know its name? or if i'm totally wrong, please tell me, heh:up:

oooorr if anyone from here can help with such a thing, i'm looking to get a rack unit made up to hold 4 rack-mounted units (standard 19"), a laptop, a microkorg and a pod x3 live.

the racks are, as mentioned, the standard 19" width, but.......the microkorg is 21" (approx) and the pod 23" (approx). so it'd either had to be a bit wider than standard, or be about 24" deep - either or really.

it's because im looking to have my whole setup pre-wired up, really. less setup time, more ease of transport, etc.

anyone out there able to fashion such a thing to contain all of this at all? there's money involved, naturally.

oh, and it would have to have wheels, handles, etc.
