  1. I really don't understand why it has about a minute and a half of bare beats at the start of it, but dropping it into the mix at the right moment (especially if you drop it melodically) will pretty guarantee a reaction.

Huang Chuncai eats in his ward before his second operation to remove his tumours, which currently weigh around 10kg (22lbs), at a hospital in Guangzhou, southern China’s Guangdong province, January 5, 2008. Huang, a 32-year-old native from a remote village in China’s southern province of Hunan, says he is relieved after a part of his facial tumours, which originally weighed about 23kg (50.7 lbs), was removed last year. His second operation will remove another part of the tumours, which weighs 4.5kg (9.9lbs). Huang suffers from Neurofibromatosis, which is a genetic disorder of the nervous system that primarily affects the development and growth of nerve tissues.

  4. driving music

most people listen to music when they're driving, so what's everyone's favourite music to drive to?

at the moment, i'm big on:

the shins - wincing the night away

elvis costello - my aim is true

    spinbad - fabric live

the whitest boy alive - dreams

  5. So what? It's the bitchy moaning of a lazy arts student, which is ten times as tiresome as having the audacity to take people seriously.

Your thinking that the admission of reading books is a realistic claim to the title 'cultured' reflects present disdain towards it; how many people can't sit still for five minutes without the intervention of a 24 inch plasma screen, let alone raise their brain activity to anything above root consciousness. I'm pretty sure readers win in the long run though: if you don't have any knowledge of the past , how can you possibly hope to understand the future?

take this guy's advice, jj. put down the paints and pick up some books.
