  1. What sort of thing are you getting done sleeve-wise?

If i was you i'd speak to the bride and try and see exactly what she has a problem with etc.

it's quite hard to describe exactly, but it includes a woman, flowers and leaves. it's all in pink and black, and it's lovely if i do say so myself! i'll post a picture of it once it's done. i'm so excited.

yeah, i'm going to speak to her about it, because it kind of upset me. brides, eh!

It might be a bit of a pain, but if the wedding is soon could you not postpose your appointment for your half sleeve?!

it's not until next summer

  2. That's a shame, they're part of you and should be appreciated as such.

    those were my thoughts...

Sadly I cant recommend anythign from experience but this might be of some help:

    Tattoo coverup? - Yahoo! Answers

It's suggesting DermaBlend and seems to be getting some good feedback :)

yeah, i saw some reviews for dermablend, but it had some pros and fairly big cons - one being that some of the people reviewing it couldn't get a shade light enough. i have pretty pale skin which could be a problem - could always get a fake tan, ha. this is quite the pickle.

    Tats oot for the lads.

The look fairly discreet and tasteful to me, I don't see why you have to cover them up.

i don't think it's those ones she's worried about, though i could be wrong. i'm getting a half-sleeve started in the next month, so i can kind of see her point. it's very lovely, tasteful and girly though.

    ho ho ho.

My bad. I misread the original quote.

I hold my hands up and apologise.

shame you can't take back the negative rep you gave, eh ;)

  3. Well don't ask strangers for advice then be a total bitch.

i'm not entirely sure what point you were trying to prove there, as that didn't make much sense in context, but i guess it doesn't take much to be a total bitch around here. i didn't entirely mean to sound so harsh, though it was a little frustrating to have that as a response.

Why do you want to cover them up?

i'm going to be a bridesmaid and it seems as though it'll be imperative that i cover them up.

  4. i did mine with bsm. i'd had a few lessons when i was younger with one driving instructor there but i hated it. i decided to restart the lessons a few years later and got a guy called gary, who was really good. passed first time with 2 minors and only took about 10 lessons (though i had my own car and had been going out in that too).

  5. I really don't get this at all. Yes, customers are idiots, they're rude, just generally cunts. But, when working with the public it's our job to be as polite as possible, no matter how much we don't like them.

It's rule number 1 in the customer service handbook. Anyone who doesn't know this by now really shouldn't be doing customer service work.

as bob bouma said, i said it was quite hard. i'm not often very rude to customers, just sometimes not as cheery. i've had experience working in shops etc for 8 years so i fully know how to provide good customer service, thankyou.

Yeah...i don't really get that impression from their reaction in this thread...

i get the impression you're a bit up your own ass, but you're most likely not that way in real life, and i'd still be willing to talk to you to form my own opinion.

  6. I don't really think i should have had to ask them to turn it down!

Most of the staff are rude and very off hand'ish, even intimidating.

i hope he was meaning me for the intimidating part. chances are, he's never seen me because i only work once a week - c'est la vie!

    but really, i'm very scary.

you know, sometimes it's quite hard to be nice 100% of the time considering some of the customers who come in are rude as hell and have no sense of manners themselves.

  7. Edit: And while I'm at it, the misuse of apostrophes. People writing CD's and DVD's. Cunts cunts cunts.

That seriously grinds my gears. I see the word photo's every day and feel like giving english lessons to everyone who does it.

  8. Dianne, any chance of submitting pics of your tats? or your tattoos if you wish - boom, boom! By the way, those blinds went out of fashion yonks ago ..................................

never come on here so only just noticed this, oops. will gather together the photos i have and post them tonight or tomorrow. btw, since my last post, i've had 2 tattoos done by richard. he's not as bad as everyone makes out.
