  1. There is nothing to be "chuffed" about when we have lost our best attacking player' date=' so cut out the smugness.

Hopefully Jimmy will see sense when we play Celtic and play Clark on the right of midfield, Snoyl on the left and put Nicholson in the middle with McFarlene for some grit. McNaughton can go left back, Griffin on the right and Zander and Russ in the middle. Lovell and Mackie could have the unfortunate task of chasing the ball all afternoon. I just hope he doesn't go 5 across the middle and put (God forbid) Dempsey or Foster in there too and leave just one up front.

I would have serious reservations about playing McCauly in such a big game.

Having said all that, the players positions went out the window in the second half on Saturday and it turned into a bit of a free for all, so anything's possible at Parkhead.......[/quote']

Ah but sarcasm is hard to achieve via the internet. I'm sorry if i'm not crying about Smith's injury, its part and parcel of the game as he himself says. Mcfarlene can go to hell as far as i'm concerned. He looks like a bumbling old man and I can't believe he came out of the Rangers game with any credit. I think Nicholson is far more effective in the middle of the park, swap him with Clark and have Crawford and Lovell starting upfront. Otherwise I would stick with Saturday's starting line up even though the performance was dire.

There is no particular reason for my liking of Super kyle, but its fun to get behind randoms. Atleast he has the balls to shoot every now and then.

I also think that despite Foster being utterly awful and having no football skills at all, hes pretty game and is a good person to bring on late in the game to piss off a tiring defence. Mackie should always start on the bench because I think he is far more useful coming on late because his pace counts that little bit extra when everyone else has been playing for an hour.

  2. Oh well, bye bye any chance of getting higher than six place. Jamie Smith is out for 6 weeks and had to pull out of the scotland squad he has tried so hard to get back into on the day it was announced. I was actually pretty chuffed with myself actually, because when he went off holding his leg yesterday I did an straight away Alan Hansoned it and called the injury. Browny points for me.

I guess its up to Super kyle to save the day!

  3. Ethan could have communicated it in theory, but i agree. How exactly can Jack be an other? He is far too central, plus he was on the plane. If anything this bit of knowledge points towards the experiment theory but I wouldn't say it does that much either. I get the feeling its going to be about everything happening for a reason under the guidence of a divine entity maybe sneak some eastern Kharma philosophy in there too just to fuck some shit up.

  4. his turnaround on sayid was all a bit calculated. But if he was an other, then surely he could just tell them that and threaten them. The fact that he was found no where near the camp suggests that if he was an other he would be perfectly within his rights to wander about.

I think he is neither an other nor what he says he is.

  5. Heather had a pretty good theory regarding Lenny Sims (the mental guy who Hurley got the numbers from)

She thought that the crazy guy was stationed out on the island as one of the original researchers - and that just pushing a button all day made him go mental (and hence repeat 4 8 15 16 23 42 all day long).

I reckon that's an ace theory' date=' and would tie up how those numbers made it back to Hurley in the first place. However, this would mean that the numbers lose pretty much all their 'curse' as there is no coincidence between Hurley having the numbers, and the numbers appearing mysteriously on the island (because he indirectly got them from the island)[/quote']

The "coincidence" is nothing to do with how Hurley knows the numbers, but that Hurley, who won the lottery with those numbers, was plagued by what he took to be a curse of those numbers, would then board a plane that crash lands on an island in the middle of no where that happens to have a compound dedicated to simply churning out those numbers.

Coincidence appears far too regularly in Lost which would seem to suggest that the conclusion is either supernatural or religious. If they attempt to make this a socialogical experiment I would be very interested in just how they managed to crash land a plane full of people that are all indirectly connected. Surely if they went to all that trouble to manipulate the lives of each indivdual so that they would be on that plane at that time then they wouldn't really want to risk killing them all by crashing them on an island.

Seeing as this is American, i'm putting money on some sort of dream sequence/coma/limbo thing.

"Well America, there you have it, Frankenstein has just been attacked by the French Airforce and he's whipped their derrieres!"

"I told you birdbrain, I am not Jenning anymore. I am now one of the Dark Overlords of the Universe."
