  1. well it appears if you meet close of business on a friday but then try to use that days date, so I tried to transfer money on today the fourth but kept getting an error message saying I had to enter a date between the seventh and some other date in the far future. So I assumed that I wouldnt be able to put money across.

However if I put the seventh as the transfer date, then the money would go straight across. very confusing.

  2. He stood for SRC President at RGU when I was in first year. He had these posters up everywhere with himself in some sort of nazi-esque uniform. He got totally torn apart at the hustings though.

Although I first came across this website a couple of years ago, by way of the RGU forum. Is truly frightful

  3. oh yeah, best weekend I've had in ages.

Popup, Kid Canaveral and the Aliens were amazing in the Solus tent, Arthur Brown was ace as were system 7.

The Animals were like an Animals Tribute act, but it was actually them....

Reggae tent was cool and the Eden zone stuff was cool too. Back next year I think.

  4. Apart from his girlish giggles it was surreal meeting Phat Tom' date=' hope you didnt mind me farting.[/quote']

I got excited when I saw the title to this thread. Thought you were talking about that bloke off off myspace.

  5. Fucking stinks, when it gets to this stage when tickets sell out this early then what's the point?

Give it up, start something new and keep it real, not some sort of fucking capitalist regime.Imean, acts arent even announced yet. Sorry it just pisses me off how quickly the tickets go these days

    :swearing:

  6. Aberdeen scares me a lot of the time. There are a lot of strange people around, the seaguls attack folk. Plus I got randomly smacked on John street by neds a few weeks ago, for daring to walk around the bus stop they were currently occupying.

I've been a lot of places but never experienced such an array of oddities as I have here.

    Not slagging the place though.

  7. chill out they are just innocent creatures

Alas you are wrong Mr Ollie, I was attacked last year by one that swooped down and smacked me in the back of the head and stole my bagel.

Check out the back stories in the P and J there's loads of reported attacks.

  8. I remember last year there were two fucking amazing portrait arists and this year there was only moderate one.

Personally I prefer abstract painting' date=' Portraiture is an something each painter must be able to do, one you start with, and i feel that the journey of art school is to push yourself, which means taking a huge departure from those core abilities, but maintaining the technique and skill. Which I feel most of this years painters have done, which i feel I am quite objective in as it is not my own discipline.

Favourite thing I saw was the kinda birds eye view scenes made from lots of smaller pictures - can't really explain it but you'll know which one I'm on about.

    Yeah, they're fucking ace.

  9. Except its wiping the songs that is what's depressing me: all the stuff bought off itunes' date=' ones borrowed and copied, the sheer timne involved....nightmare. Its not all stored on my itunes, too much memory being used up. Can't believe it.[/quote']

Ah..... Thats weird cause when something isnt in my itunes it automatically removes them from the pod.

  10. Plug it into your computer and go to the ipod folder, there should be an option to "Restore Factory settings" do this and it'll wipe your iPod. However once its wiped all you need to do is upload all our songgs as well, that shouldn ttake long

  11. was gonna go down tonight but i'm knackered so it'll be later in the week. the photography exhibition went up today at college. just a wee reminder that it is open to the public from wednesday to friday 10 till 9 for the first two days and 10 till 3 on the friday.

i think it's really strong this year(not including my own work) and is maybe even better than last years one. i've landed one of the rubbish spots where you have to be standing in an entrance to look at my first board properly but thems the breaks.

I would go along if I didnt have to be in Grays every day.

  12. I did like yer speaker stack' date=' but badly placed, as everyone seems to hang around at the entrance, so didn't get a good chance to look closely...I'm going back on tuesday night for a better swatch, might see something then to my taste on a second visit.

    [/quote']

Cheers, glad you liked it. it's supposed to be obstructive, hence the placement. But I dunno, I cant really look at anything any more, been looking at it all for too long now.

Yeah, the opening isnt the best time to see everything, waaaaaay too busy. As for the statements, I dont really like them but the tutors insist on us putting them in. I'm more interested in how other people see my stuff anyway.

  13. You should definatley go and go tonight if you can. No invites required as such... It's by far one of the bigger calendar events and a great buzz. Quite a few thousand turned up at last years opening' date=' gets bigger every year. And its fun seeing all the new graduates walking around with a dazed look on their fizzogs... I'm getting nostalgic;( :woohoo:[/quote']

    aye, just what he said
