  1. I 'enjoyed' talking in fake voices constantly, and almost forgetting what the hell my real voice was like. I enjoyed walking around town the next day, and seeing 'gas' written in places where gas are, and almost cracking up and crying.

"you might be hot shit in the real world, but you ain't no-one at GavFest!"

"Steve Mountain's back on the case!"

Lime driving his car really slowly like a horrible music video, before making Turgebastard bleed.

Almost falling asleep in the seat of a JCB

    Hell

    Hell

    Sin

    Hell

  2. 'Obvious comparisons to Sonic Youth plague them wherever they go, which I believe irritates them so I won't mention it.'

Hee hee! The comparisons make me laugh, simply because they annoy the guitarists. My theory is that the comparisons will maybe stop as soon as we stop sounding like them. If were not 50% motown, 25% disco, and 25% MBV by the end of the year, the solo project may have to take precedence...

Politik and Dedalus playing the gig as well? Oh my! Should be awesome. I like being in Major Major at gigs like this. It's like getting into see bands I like for free. Hurrah!

  3. Making Christmas songs is most fun. Last year I made one which was utterly unlistenable, and featured the lines 'Just because you've bought them gifts, I doesn't mean that they'll stop crying' and 'You're so ungrateful, you didn't say happy birthday to Christ'

It appeared on the Dundee 'Launch' fanzine CD. Track it down if you can!

I'd make another this year, but I think I drained myself of my best material last year.

Ah, what the hell. I'll give it a go. Do submissions have to be on CD, or can they be on tape? My CD burner is broken. Bah.

  4. That would be very nice of you, sir. The Majors are in your debt. Yes. It's nice people remember we exist.

Isn't the cover fucking shit? I drew a boxer, and for someone reason Dave the singer decided to repeat this image loads, making it look like the most tacky, ill-thought out thing in town. And the paper sleeve scratches CD's. And I don't understand the last song. It's supposed to be about 5 times the speed that it was recorded. The engineer man forced us to slow down, as it sounded like we were racing each other or something. I thought that was part of our charm. Bah.

    I'm shit at self-promotion.

    I love my band!
