Neil from Hookers Green is like Ian Curtis, in that I could easily imagine him beating his wife and killing himself. Lime's party was fucking stupid. I'm glad I'm dead.

There's the nagging feeling that some of his stuff errs on the side of Jamiroquai, but there's no denying 'Power Lunch' is superhot. And those abs!!!

I 'enjoyed' talking in fake voices constantly, and almost forgetting what the hell my real voice was like. The comparisons make me laugh, simply because they annoy the guitarists. My theory is that the comparisons will maybe stop as soon as we stop sounding like them. If were not 50% motown, 25% disco, and 25% MBV by the end of the year, the solo project may have to take precedence... Politik and Dedalus playing the gig as well? Oh my! Should be awesome. I like being in Major Major at gigs like this. It's like getting into see bands I like for free. Hurrah!

I think that second song on the Hookers Green ep is fantastic. So fantastic, I don't know what it's called. 'There Is An Equilibrium'. That's it.

I'd vote for the unforgettable 'Death Cubed'. Undignified, I know, but hey, I enjoyed myself. Not sure if anyone else did, though. A highlight was realising we'd used up all our 'material' and had 20 minutes left to kill onstage.
