I think you're all silly and I'm going to stamp my feet!
There was nearly a serious scrap in the Toilets because somebody thought James Allen was miming. Not a scrap with me I should point out although I definitely wasn't taking that guys side.

I didn't read it, but I enjoyed the colours
Kevin has clearly gone to a lot of effort to respond to this! If he could spend a little of that effort replying to emails he might actually get a bit more business, just a little, but hey..these days!
And better lets not tell him who Idol wild is!

Ace...pop hit!

Agreed.
It's not those filthy Orange, greasy black-haired, proddy bastards or the ginger, tattie-munching Fenian cunts I cant stand about the Old Firm....it's the sectarianism and the whole religious stereotyping thing
Hopefully you meant to be ironical

Is it time to start mentioning the legendary Dr. Drakes gig?

Did anybody else find the download a bit crackly...or are my headphones fucked again...or my head?
-
I don't expect people to pay for a digital-only release.
I also don't think I have any sort of fan-base to merit placing a price on it.
Are you doing physical copies?
-
Why are you just giving it away?
-
Fuckpiss.
Shame, just when I'd got back into The Lemon Tree way of things after excellent Vessels gig last night. And would have been back for this.

If you've ever wanted an in depth analysis of the dress sense of the entire Dons squad, look no further:

I just know I don't want to read that!

the simple fact is Avalanche & 1UP are like all record shops that remain open, that they are struggling & if we don't consciously decide to use them for our music related purchases etc they will be gone.
Interest rates will probably be going up this year which is going to add extra costs to overdrafts.
As idol_wild said the coffee situation sound crap as there's FOUR coffee shops & the wild thingy within 30yards of 1UP's front door.
So next time you think you are going to buy music product use 1UP
all said & done "use them or loose them"
I would use them if they provided the service I need these days. Sadly they don't, nor do they seem that interested in doing so. The world has changed.
-
yeah
they have loads in Edinburgh and Glasgow
and millions in London
I think there's more too it than that!
The shop is nicely in keeping with the scaffie Sports Shop across the road. Worst service ever, but at least consistent. The Glasgow shop was equally as bad.

i would pre-order this if the site would bloomin work. grrr *shakes fist at radiohead website*
Seems to be working fine for me

From The Music Fix Website "A special vinyl/CD package involving all kinds of stuff you will look at once and then put in a cupboard will ship in May." That'll do for me!
Lucky Rathen considers himself British first and Scottish second

Haven't read the whole thread but always Scottish first. I'm not particularly nationalistic but that's where I was born. I get a little anoyed with drop down lists of counties on the interent not having Scotland as an option especially if it's a Scottish web site.
And on the subject of foreigners getting confused my daughters in Australia just now and her tour guide thought Scotland and Ireland were at war. I think I blame Celtic and Rangers for that.
