Tram does sound good. I like different stuff like that. Good ideas so far chaps.
Yes. It is cool.

Catch the ferry (which is free) to Staten Island and time your return for dusk and see Manhatten lit up in all it's glory.
You get good views as well by taking the subway to New Jersey and catching a ferry back
Hire bikes for Central Park.
I thought the Movie and TV tour was good fun but mainly because the kids liked it.

Anyhow for now Murray is British, once he gets beaten in the quarters or semis at Wimbledon he'll become Scottish again
This is kind of a boring old cliche unless you can provide some evidence that is

First time I've ever been to the Beer Festival. Pittodries a rubbish venue isn't it?

Hullo!
That looks like a proper physical thing! Call me old fashioned but I'm getting fed up of looking for new releases by hot new bands only to discover they're just downloads. It's just not the same and I mainly still resist the urge!
So. I'll be bying this one.

Thought you only wore grandad shirts?
I didn't say I was going to wear the fucking thing!

Also done, including t-shirt. Can't remember the last time I bought a band's T-shirt. I have a feeling you should have done Extra large!

I've got two tickets spare for Mercury Rev on Thursday 19th at Edinburgh Queens Hall. They're playing Desserters Songs in its entirety. They cost me 23.70 each (including fees etc), so 45 for both?

I picked up his band's cd in a charity shop last week...forget their name though!
Lift to Experience

Josh T. Pearson - Last Of The Country Gentlemen...that'll be album of the year sorted then. Stark, intense, scary and beautiful. Nearly made me crash my car today.

Can't get the staff...

This is one of the few gigs recently that stirred my interest but sadly it co-incided with a mate's 40th birthday bash so I was duty bound for that. So I would go if she came back.
Good, we agree on something

Is it actually about it being 'cool' to hate them now? The hype surrounding them at the time of the first album wasn't justified in my humble opinion on listening so my dislike is nothing new. I wouldn't go so far as to say I hate them, they don't figure that highly in my thoughts. I just think they are pretty pish, along with many other bands.
There are people who hate them just because of their name! I might have been one of them if I hadn't fallen in love with the tunes.

New songs from any band can flatten a gig.
I thought the new songs were great. I saw them in Forres earlier this year where they played far fewer of them and was disappointed. Now with the benefit of hearing them on CD they sounded much better.
And anyone who can get "fitba taps" into a song is just fine with me.
I think you're right about them being the new cool band to hate and I don't understand why really.
I still think they'd be better if he went back to playing guitar though.

Fixed that for you
Ha ha. Thanks!

Pretty much sums up the kind of retards that listen to this lowest-common-denominator shit.

JOSH T. PEARSON - LAST OF THE COUNTRY GENTLEMEN
