its mastered really well, (IMO) it was about £700 in total if i remember simon saying. U can always get a bank loan and make the money back from sales, its whether ur willing to take the risk!!

yeh spend some decent money on 3-4 songs recorded and spend some more money getting it mixed and mastered properly somewhere else! sound on sound has some really good budget mastering adverts for places that give good results!!

yeh tight sounding band...but yeh need some good lyrics.

hmm its ok...gd song there jus needs recorded properly. Put some mid in the vocals. Some of the vocals are off, if ur brave enough solo them and u will hear it. Even with myself i feel a little embarressed to hear off key singing i've done. But solo it and listen to the vocals and try and hear it for urself.

We didn't get a soundcheck because it was an alldayer, she has an unusual voice, in soundcheck is where these things get sorted as you know. We have to deal with going on and winging it fair enough but its just the way it is innit! i always have arguments with other gtrists about this, being able to play really fast complex solos doesnt make u a gd gtrist just makes you good at that technical part. Not being able to play slow melodic and syncopated stuff aswell as keep rythmn but hmm im trying to say u could be the greatest fuckin musician and still not be able to write a decent piece of music/song. that make any sense??

i would buy an M16 an kill everyone/fucker on my enemies list OR a new pro tools7 rig for my room, with some shit hot monitors!

listen to it on every fuckin stereo u can get ur hands on, in the car, ipod, dvd player anywhere and try and find the right balance and take some notes. (if u havent got a gd memory allocation like me!)

Try doing vocals in different places in the shower for example and find a sweet place most shit is to do with the acoustics of the room giv but im babling shite now cuz its l8 and ears are still ringing still fuckin ringing from last night!!
