That's the nature of most F2P (and some not F2P) games these days. It's essentially why there are so many of them. Because of the "whales". You'd be amazed how much some people will spend on a game. I'm talking one person spending over $100k in a year on a F2P game. And they're not alone, there's a lot of them. Insanity.

The city's water pump broke and I didn't realise right away, everyone drank sewage, got sick and died. Streets of abandoned houses. I didn't have enough cemeteries with enough hearses to collect the dead bodies.

Get the auto demolish abandoned/burnt buildings mod. It's the best thing on the Steam workshop.

AGFW couldn't understand why he couldn't check-in for his flight when the email said he can check in 24 hours before his flight's departure time. Instead, he was told that check-in opened in 7 minutes. The flight was at 10:30. This happened at 10:23. And he still doesn't understand why he had to wait 7 minutes.

AGFW now comments on everything I eat. If I have a bagel in the morning he goes "OMG you're going to turn into a bagel". Despite him eating the same cereal every day. And when i get noodles at lunch "OMG you're obsessed." Despite him eating a sandwich...every lunch.
