  1. Holy.Fucking.Jesus.

The holy trinity of bass amps. WANT!

    xx

The Orange in the middle is actually a guitar amp. It is a 50w Orange Rocker 50.

The other 2 are bass amps, but I only use the Ampeg V4b on the bottom as a guitar amp.

    Doom anyone?

  2. Does anyone have any information on lock ups or areas that could be used for practice/storage space of equipment in the Aberdeen are?

Preferably away from residential areas, or sound proofed accordingly.

Aye, that is about it...any ideas...?

  3. should be easy enough to sort out. I set up all my own instruments, and since its a fender, its super easy. Look on their website, gives you a detailed description on how to do it.

Are the strings pretty high off the fretboard requiring more effort to play higher up the neck?

  4. Nah, never got the model t in the end. Guy sold it locally unfortunately. One day though. Shipping wasn't actually going to be that bad, probably would have worked out at around 200 quid, which added to the price the amp was, still came to around 900 quid which is a steal.

Sam, picked it up at strung out on Glasgow, how come?

  5. Very hopeful for a lot of these things, but very unlikely that I will find any of them, but always worth a try, anyways, I am looking for:

    A Boss PS-2 Pitch Shift/Delay pedal

    A Boss OS-2 Overdrive/Distortion pedal

A Providence Stampede SDT-1 Distortion/Overdrive pedal (especially this one)

Anyways, thanks for looking, PM me or leave a message on here if you have any of these and are willing to part with them!

  6. In great condition.

Looking for £600 or closest offer.

Just about to get it serviced and re-tubed to make sure it is A-OK and causes you no problems down the line!

Served me very well and was only really used as a slave amp to my Orange!

    Get in touch if interested.

Great amps, super tough, and the staple amp for that late 90's to now metal sound.

  7. hey there, if I remember right, the 6505 is exactly the same as the 5150 and should just be a drop in, no rebias needed like the mesa's. As long as you order valves from somewhere like watford valves and tell them the amp, they can pick ones that are matched for the amps plate voltage. I had a bias mod done to my 5150 by dennis marshall to warm it up. But before that all I had to do was replace the valves with correct matched ones.

After some reading, you are correct, it is the 6505+ which has the adjustable BIAS, whereas this one is fixed like MESA etc.

But still needing it serviced. Need a tech to look it over and give it the OK before shipping it off to someone else.

Out of interest, any one have a link to that thread about the chap from The Deportees having his amp ruined?
