Why don't the mods put it to a vote how people would like the forums to be seperated. Then we can get on with having a great summer and stop moaning and looking back like the world has come to an end! There's nothing wrong with a bit of nostalgia but it doesn't have to be in such a negative context!

What's the point in being virtuous if you can't post photos of it on aberdeen-music?! ...but really i do miss it when i'm bored.

Thanks a lot to everyone for there encouraging feedback! Personal, I think it went well. I for one, was quite nervous on stage but it was such a big turnout! I think now we've got our first gig under our belt we'll be able to make our live set stronger.
Thanks also to Jamesy! Weapon are sounding pretty rocking indeed!
There will be more "creepy rock" and hopefully a more energetic show on the 8th or March so a good crowd make it down for that one!

About time! It's been months since I've seen them!

We will! It should be up next week once we've played our first gig!

Where is it? Is it central?

Don't start or there will be a nasel fountain!
It was without a doubt the best gig i've been to! Great stage show and performance. Great atmosphere. No swaying crowds or flying pints, bottles, etc! Wow! I can't describe it. Just... the best!

How's everyone (who doesn't live in Glasgow) planning on travelling? I'm thinking the train is the faster and more comfortable option if it's not too expensive...
-
Is anyone going out to the Cathouse or anything after the gig?
-
I got my ticket a couple of days after paying online.

...Sorry, I didn't catch the name of your fucking magnificent band that is so good you can mock every other band in Aberdeen....
-
I tried to fry a veggie burger and an egg but the oil was too hot and I burnt them. I put them in a sandwich with Philadelphia and a few olives but I went in the bin after a few bites.

Hmm...controversial. Quite a good name though....

Is that a real word? If not how did you stumble across a word like that? Unless you were trying to soleness or something and mumbled across it...?

So basically all that matter is that the name isn't terrible or misleading.
We wanted to call our band Seven Days Self-denial but soon realised that people would never remember that....
-
Yeah, I could imagine a band called death satan dill satan blah blah being a mellow acoustic band...

Does it really matter waht you call your band?
..and does anyone really just stumble apon a name these days?
Christiansen + HWG + SEA

Yeah apparently there's some really good local support! Main stage sounds good to me!
I thought the back room gig was good. The bands were pretty cool. I bought the SEA ep and it's pretty good. Not really what I'm into but it was nice!
HWG sounded ok but didn't find them to be anything special.
Christiansen really grabbed my attention at the start but they went on to play the same song countless times and were really boring until the end with all the antics! Not a bad gig at all though! Fun fun!
