    you have indeed...

eric euan practice in a zepplin high above the city which is only reachable by a knotted rope, teathered at a secret location... a secret location which is not visable to the human eye...

the 'vault' you refer to was infact a staged set constructed onboard the zepplin... bill ely were led to believe they were on market street thanks to the use of revolutionary techniques in mind control and hypnotic suggestion...

these "revolutionary techniques in mind control and hypnotic suggestion" he's talking about are otherwise known as "dodgy kebabs"

But to be honest they can't get enough of them.

  2. check out...

    check out www.myspace.com/ericeuan

we rotate various live tracks from the moorings on there.

We have to say the stuff sounds awesome and we're looking to put out a full live album of tracks recorded at the Moorings, as soon as finances allow that is. Stay tuned.

Flash/Mark one of the guys was supposed to finally give you some notes on the recording last sat but the fool forgot. We'll get them to you soon.

We must also apologise (publicly) for taking so long in doing so. we are still moving ahead with the project but as stated above finance difficulties have slowed us to a crawl at the moment.

Anyhoo, all of you go check out Marks mixing and Flashes cool photo's.

  3. Hmmmm

There are some really funny comedians from the states, here are some I recommend.

    Dave Attell

    Mitch Hedburg (RIP)

    Jim Gaffigan

    Greg Giraldo

    Dom Irrera

    Brian Regan

I know a lot of people will slate me for bringing americans into this but I don't care. Stand-up is much more developed there and more competitive.

I'm quite a fan of some early classic stuff especially Bill Cosby's comedy albums. Again people are gonna go "he's not funny" but it's very interesting to listen to some of his stuff from the late 60's, early 70's and you'll find pretty much that our very own Billy Connelly has made a career from ripping him off.

  4. good day folks,

eric euan will be getting some airplay on Pulse rated's "the Sessions" with Lynsey Hooper. Thursday 25th Jan 07 @ 7pm GMT. It's the very best in Alternative Unsigned artists and a real treat to be played. we could really use your help in making it count.

you can tune in and vote for us either at Pulse Now Radio or Sky Channel 0155 (UK only).

The track is "The Continent" from our current e.p. "Unification of the planets". Hope you enjoy.

we'd like to thank you all in advance for your support.

    much love

    eric euan

  5. Dave Tail soup

how's it badly punctuated? it's a saying right? "daveofficer is strong like ox". that's how its always been said and written isn't it? i think it's a good name for a band and a million times better than small enclosed area. i prefer their new sound as well.

It's true I have often heard the term "Dave Officer is Strong like Ox" throw about the place. And d'ya know what else? He is.

  6. eric euan e.p. review

    Hey folks,

Is this Music? magazine have reviewed our latest e.p "Unification of the planets" Here's what they said.....

    eric euan

    Unification of the planets

3 seconds of spidery prog-rock guitar open up "Pull it together" - a boisterous singalong emo anthem.

The Aberdeen 5 piece who number four guitars in their line-up, show they're not a one-trick pony however - "The Continent" is admittedly a (good) piece ofpop-rock from the Biffy school, all shouty-yet harmonised choruses and excitable drum fills.

"Planets" is more of a slow guitarry piece that bands always put on e.p's to show their sensitive side, but it's a winner, all breathy vocals and tinkling strings.

"Charlie takes the stage" closes the e.p. but why it's tucked away at the end (perhaps the rubbish title?) is a mystery, the best most smartest tune on what is a top notch e.p.

    [bB] ????

    4/5

Does this along with all the other news bites from the other acts not tell you that this Friday night at the Tunnels is "one not to miss"?

Hope to see all of you there.

    much love

    eric euan

    p.s. Brian is lovelly

  7. Can any of you fine folks recommend a good (as in cheap but of high quality) cd rep place?

We are looking to release a new cd soon and are shopping about.

We only need a short run of about 250+ copies.

Need disc artwork, jewel case + artwork etc. You know, the trimmings.

Anyone who knows of such a magical place will be much thanked?

  8. Acht!

interesting' date=' interesting... any dates booked elsewhere in the calander vicinity?

surely an eric euan member birthday + a fudge birthday = cash bonanza for fudge to spend on fireants and barrels of cider.

the dealio is that i have two bands booked, and need another. perhaps we will have party games too! although the kitty's a little bare, so expect the prizes to be no better than normal.

you'd be on, oh, say 11.15-12ish[/quote']

Sorry min, we're just being greedy. We're playing the lemon tree on the 1st. Someone else should probably get the honour.
