I've lost a stone and in general toned up a bit. I've also grown from 5ft4 to 5ft6 in the past three months which is a bit odd. I am in the process of giving up smoking (oh joy.) and going to the gym every day. Oh the irreplaceable joy of healthy living.

Send the pictures of the rabbit piss on the walls to her parents. I'm pretty sure they won't be too impressed. And yes, report her. It's a sign of distress that they do that.

I own my flat and i wouldn't dream of telling my flatmate who she can and can't have staying with her! You are paying rent and thus can have whoever you want to stay. If your tenantcy agreement says that you can't have people to stay then i guess you have to accept her decision, if not, then she can't do anything about it.

There is also Studio One and I'd recommend talking to the staff at the GUU and QMU as they may well help you to advertise. Mono and 13th note are probably your best bet.

I'm a smoker and although i am dreading the day the ban comes in, i must admit that i think less people will start. I started smoking when i was drunk with friends (in bars) and now i smoke between 20 and 30 a day. Although i am going to quit when the ban comes through, the ban is not all good news.
The main thing i worry about is sending every drunk person out onto the streets to smoke rather than having designated areas. If you have 200 drunk people out on the streets of Glasgow (just using that as an example as i live there) can you honestly say that there will not be a rise in violence?
And as for the NHS, well, there will of course be a good 20 year over lap where the money lost from the smoking ban (the NHS makes a great deal of it's money through the sale of tabacco) and the amount of people being treated for smoking related problems will damage the NHS, but hey, we can cross that bridge when we come to it.
At the end of the day, we will only be able to judge the loss or gain of this new law as time passes but with any luck there will be fewer smokers.

I totally agree with Melonpie, it's a really good idea to get started as soon as possible. For my dissertation i did "A clockwork orange", "We" and "Fahrenheit 451". I found that working with three texts was easier than two because there was much more to say.

Anyone else doing this subject? Trying to write my dissertation (2 S's or 1 - you see the problems i have) and completely stuck for what to write. Read 'The Outsider' and 'Young Adam' for it. The Outsider was absolutely awesome i thought' date=' Young Adam was good but not as good as The Outsider.
Anyone got any tips for writing these as i dont have a clue?[/quote']
Your best bet is to outline the themes of both books, write about the characters, don't write too much about the plot because they hate that and then contrast the two books and just say what they have in common and what they don't. You might also benifit from another text especially given that The Outsider is pretty short.
If you have Mrs Milne then don't bother asking her because she knows nothing.
