  1. I am a singer songwriter from Aberdeen looking to start a modern country (ish) band here. I have been playing gigs since the age of 14 and have my own equipment. My influences are Two Gallants, Old Crow Medicine Show, Bright Eyes, Jenny Lewis and Felice Brothers. I play guitar, bass, piano, lapsteel and I sing.

I have some songs we could work on right away if interested. Looking to start ASAP and open to ideas of instruments used and number of band members.

If you think you'll fit, please reply on here.

  2. A drunken story that made me laugh recently:

A friend of mine was out on a night out and had one too many. He was walking down the road with his friend and saw a police woman talking to one of his pals. The police woman was pretty fit so he decided to go and talk to her. Basically, a couple of months later he got a letter saying that he'd been summoned to court to give evidence regarding this night. He has no idea what happened and doesn't even know what the crime is.

    Made me laugh anyway.

  4. I feel your pain. its not a very good read in my opinion. I found it strangly empty and couldnt write much for the essay. but alas Philosophy was my degree luckily.

Im currently reading SElf and Others by R.D Laing.its non-fiction.

Unfortunatly my degree is English Lit so I have a feeling that this will not be the only crap read we'll have. We've also done Emma and Turn of the Screw.
